Hi Finette, I saw your note about thinking of moving. It reminded me of

an excellent thought by one of our support group leaders. You should be

where the good Dr(s) are. Then you will know you're getting good

treatment.

There is one excellent Dr. in North Jersey, Dr. S. Just a thought. I go

there for treatment (about 3 hours/each way).

Best Wishes,

Hi all - I am originally from NJ - sis still lives there & recently

sent me an article from the Nov 2007 NJ Monthly which tells of some

LLMD's. Since I didn't have Lyme & co's when I lived there I cannot

state about any personal experience about any of these Dr's, but will

pass along the names as they were openly published as Lyme

experienced.

1.) Macapinlac / Bloomfield...Mountainside Hospital, Montclair

973-748-4583...He's listed as treating hep C, post op infections, HIV

& Lyme Disease...........

2.) McManus / Randolph... 973-989-0068...Lists HIV/AIDS, Lyme

Disease & wound care.................

3.)Dr Max DeShaw / town...973-538-5844...Although I saw you

mention town as a problem - it states in this article that Dr

DeShaw treats HIV, Hep C, tuberculosis & Lyme Disease. Also states

he " has a special fascination for tick-borne infections " .

Maybe you already know of these Dr's - maybe they are the one's that

you are discussing as being prob's...just thought I'd pass on the

info - sure hope 1 of the names helps someone!

Happy Holiday's all! ~~
