Every day of delay allows the pathogens to multiply and > disseminate further, causing more damage and becoming harder to kill. Please note that starting ABX makes further serologic testing impossible (unreliable) until about 2 months after ABX use has been stopped! I would strongly advised to take a IgeneX test and only AFTER sending the blood to the lab start using the ABX. What if after many months of ABX you find out that you have been targeting the wrong bugs?? I have seen this happen all too often ... Guest guest
IGeneX can mail you a free test kit - 1-800-832-3200. They ask you to do the bloodtest and send it back to them early in the week so they don't get caught holding it over the weekend.Do the IgM and IgG Lyme antibody tests. Up to you if you want to test for any of the co-infections. - Robin [ ] ABX and serologic testing > > Don't delay - find an LLMD or an informed GP right away so he can start > treatment ASAP.
