There is a skin brushing technique they recommend while taking a sauna but never saw it mentioned here. +++Hi Anne. Using a sauna is okay, but it will mobilize toxins more, so you will get more die-off/detoxifying symptoms. Also it is important to regulate your electrolytes because you'll lose a lot of salt when sweating in a sauna. That's why I think it is better to just let the diet and supplements do their job of detoxifying and cleansing the longer slower way. Yes, but the most significant is sodium, and sometimes potassium. When I did a purification program in 1983 we had to learn how to " not " get overheated in the sauna, by taking cold showers and sometimes more salt, and sometimes potassium, and we also had to take minerals and many other supplements. Guest guest
years ago, a friend purchased from here. Now they have purchased a 2nd due to purchasing a 2nd home/. I also got one from here. I have found their products good and affordable. And I do not get anything from mentioning them. http://www.nationalpoolwholesalers.com/saunas.asp ________________________________ From: on <maryha@...> Sent: Mon, January 25, 2010 4:38:48 AM Subject: Re: [ ] OT- low body temp portable sauna Is a FIR sauna the same as an infared sauna? My friend recently got an infared sauna and offered to let me try it - I was wondering if this is the type of sauna that is beneficial to Lyme patients. -Mar
