Guest guest
Hi Ariel, Alpha-lipoic acid, 100 mg in the a.m. is good for me. Folic acid, 2,000 micrograms, seems to work great for me; at least it really does something! When my brain was worse, more blocked, a year or two ago, all the kinds of brain-flow pills seemed to, felt as if, they were clogging my brain. I took 300 mg of alpha-lipoic acid, and it was a great wake-up pill without the bad feelings of caffeine, but it felt as if it took 3 days to get it out of my brain. Also vinpocetine, was awful, felt clogged. So my level of lyme infection had to go down before the blood-flow pills felt good and effective. Also, i've had to stop the alpha-lipoic acid pills because i've read it can block some thyroid receptors from converting T4 into the active form T3 thyroid hormone. I'm identifying it tentatively as the cause of some thyroid hormone deficiencies lately. Good luck, purpleffoxglove --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
