that is very similar to my experience. In my country hospitals etc. don't give

any advice on probiotics and other supplements for ABX (they didn't even use

Actigal with Rocephin to prevent gal bladder problems). I also think this was a

major factor in being sicker in many ways after the antibiotics.

I started using probiotics after about half a year of ABX, too late I guess. Two

years later (without ABX) my gut is still not normal and I have to stick to a

mostly glutenfree, lowcarb diet. I have been underweight from when the Lyme

started, still very skinny and nothing helps to gain weight :(

Taking a good mix of probiotics should help, many commercial products contain

just a few types of bacteria. My guess is that natural products like Kefir

(contains many different species of micro-organisms, not just bacteria) should

work better, but it requires more attention.
