I did not have a doc to guide me in the beginning. Buhner's book gives a pretty

good protocol to follow so I just did that and I did improve slowly. Having this

group to ask questions and hear how others were doing also helped.

Three years in, I finally have a knowledgeable doc. Having that a couple of

years ago would have helped me avoid plateauing and other difficulties and I'm

sure I would have made better progress.

But I felt it was better to treat alone with the herbs than it would have been

to not treat at all for that time. I hope you are able to find the support you

need. Its one of the big problems that we face.

be tested again (did show high levels on Igenex). Its a superbug nonetheless.

abx(Clarithromycine,Metronidazol, and Doxy) looking at me from my bedside. The

idea is to go after it in all 3 forms, and the drugs check out as effective in

Rosner's book " Top 10 Lyme Treatment Methods " .

that it will make it worse, as I took Cipro years ago and it definitely made the

bad bugs worse.

myself? I'm not comfortable with that...I could use a doc's help. Any

suggestions?

there any collagen replacement supps that I can take in the meantime while I

figure things out.
