Guest guest
> Has anyone else tried this and if so, how has it worked for you? > > Blinlee I haven't tried it, but I just got back from a trip out of state to see my naturopath, who has been treating me for the last 4 years. I was recently dx'd with Lyme through another doctor, and so we discussed my possible options since getting the Lyme dx. My naturopath hasn't ever treated Lyme specifically, but about two years ago she did look into it in depth (probably in part because she's suspected from the beginning that I have Lyme, but she's not licensed to diagnose) Anyway, one of the things she wanted me to look into was teasle. I did a web search and came up blank. So I appreciate the web addresses that you shared. But one of the comments that my naturopath had for me was that she wasn't sure whether teasle was an actual cure, or if it just suppressed Lyme in some way, and that there was the potential for relapse later. I'd love to find an answer to this. But she also said that the cases that she knew about that had been using teasle, used it in conjunction with antibiotics, and not alone, and that if I tried teasle, she wanted me to also consider antibiotics along with it. She's not the type of person to recommend prescription drugs except under the most extreme circumstances, but she has expressed her views rather strongly that she believed ultimately I would have to use long-term antibiotics to deal with my problems. My question is where do you get teasle? Is it a Chinese medicine? Do you have to see any particular type of practitioner in order to buy it? lindaj@... Guest guest
I recently added teasel root to my antibiotic regime about two weeks ago. About two days ago started feeling pretty bad like I did in the beginning with an added new sympton shins hurt really bad. Any suggestions from anyone out there. For the time being I have stopped teasel root as I feel this is the culprit. Thanks so much.

Guest guest
On the topic of teasel root, just received some I ordered from Woodland Herbs and to my surprise after only 2 days of it I'm experiencing the same symptoms as when I did the Buhner herb protocol a few years ago. Sure feels like a herx. I did have a half teaspoon of that Manuka honey with bee venom in it yesterday but that wouldn't cause all of this, would it? Guest guest
I was asking Tessa --she started this thread and I was responding. I know it is sometimes confusing when the prior message doesn't show up in a post-- ~ Mimi www.iammimi.com
