Guest guest
" However, it seems that this therapy is going to be banned real soon because it is outside the official medical circuit, and medical authorities are trying to ban everything that they can't make money on. " Well ain't that just typcal!! I am so sick of big pharma making a profit off the suffering of others and worse yet I hate the fact that they control what we get to take in terms of treatments!! I feel like I am being held captive by a diagnosis that they chose to give me based on an MRI result. MS is diagnosed based on MRI findings that can be exactly the same MRI findings in chronic lyme. There are no blood tests for MS and yet they have no problem making a " clinical diagnosis " for that. Funny how that goes... " There are some studies that found that 30-40% of MS patients have Borrelia infection. Maybe the percentage is more if you use good tests Also the geographical and seasonal distribution of MS matches Lyme and ticks. I'm sure that many MS cases are misdiagnosed Lyme, but most MS patients and their docs don't want to hear about this, so they are never tested. " How true. I know lots of people with " MS " . Some have listened to me and changed their strategies and some haven't. The ones that followed my advice are now off the " MS meds " and are on their way back to health. A lady I met in Edmonton has a sister with MS. She was in a wheelchair and going down fast. I emailed lots of MS/Lyme info to my friend. At first her sister wouldn't even look at the info but my friend finally talked the sister into it by saying that she didn't have to believe, she just had to read. The sister went to a natural Dr and is now walking... yay!!! She is not cured but she is a h#ll of a lot better then she was when she was taking those " MS meds " . One of my good friends told me last year, right after I started Buhners herbs, to " get back on your MS meds " . I almost fell over when she said that. I have never been on that poison. BTW her brother has MS. I don't talk to her anymore except that I emailed the results of my western blot lol. " Maybe other MS variations exist that are NOT caused by Bb, but by other infections or maybe even other causes. Someone suggested it is caused by a Borrelia strain that is not in the Bb sl complex. It seems to me that MS is often a bit different from Lyme, so I would not be surprised if normally it is caused by another (related) bug. " I am pretty sure (from all the research I have looked thru anyway) that you are probably right (as usual lol). Brorson among others says kinda the same thing. I think it is got to be fairly close to the Bb tho... maybe a distant cousin lol cuz lots of MSers test positive on lyme blood tests. They must have lots of the same proteins on their surface etc. And I can see them in my blood but they look a bit different from the usual curly little spirochetes. But then again they could be turning into blebs. I am not quite sure yet. " There also is a paper that suggests MS can be inherited at birth as a result of exposure of the mother or father to Borrelia " Interesting... Did you read about the 4 scientists that got MS after dissecting a group of lambs that they thought had swayback? I think that the lambs probably had swayback but one may have also been infected with some type of borrelia (the cousin maybe lol). I am writing a paper that is turning into a novel lol about the lyme/ms connection. Here is something to check out. Look at the lyme map in the US. Okay, now look at the MS map of the US. Okay, one final map... look at the english colonies in the US. Interesting huh? Take Care, Chris

But if all four got MS from that I would doubt it is because of Bb. It seems highly unlikely to get a bacterial infection from dissecting (I assume they take some precautions ...) and especially a Bb infection as that would probably require an open wound. There are also suggestions that MS sometimes is caused by a virus, which would be more probably in such a case. > I am writing a paper that is turning into a novel lol about the lyme/ms connection. Interesting huh? yes, this is an interesting part of the Lyme puzzle. I guess you already know this article? http://www.canlyme.com/megan_geostatistical_analysis2.html maybe interesting for others who want to read more about MS-Lyme connection.
