Guest guest
Selma - I don't use propolis, because I am very very allergic to any bee product. But I know this is loaded with benefits! One adjustment I made today is to make a mix of herbs so I can continue to take neem for babesia and lyme. I am using one part neem to 1/2 part turmeric and 1/4 part ginger root. This will help it be less cooling. Ginger will be what is called an " apana " which will help to direct or deliver the neem and turmeric deeper into the tissues. Honey also is an apana and so is hot water (even milk). This is ayuveda's wisdom again. So the turmeric will not cancel out the benefits and energy of the neem, but compliment it - and also act as more of a neutral or less heating herb. Ginger is warming, but in this small amount will be the guide into the deeper tissues. If I was not allergic to honey, I might mix a little honey into it, but instead I'll just do warm water. I studied homeopathy when in India a few years ago, and mentored with a really wonderful doctor. It's so great to have all these modailities to work with. I especially love herbs.
