Guest guest
Has your daughter been to a good internist/ infectious disease physician? It seems to me such complicated cases may indicate the existence of coinfections and other conditions that guesswork can render dangerous. I am all for herbal and alternative medicine but sometimes it's important to bite the bullet and go to a specialist in allopathic medicine. I am doing so myself now and it turns out I have other things going on besides Lyme. I could never have figured this out on my own. Guest guest
Hi Aviva, Thanks for letting me know. I may have something in store like that for myself. I have been on the Buhner herbs for almost 10 months now and have started seeing regular doctors because I am still not well. They've already found other complications so I am hoping this is the beginning of the end of my journey with illness. I hope all goes well with the new herbalist. Is it Tim ? Guest guest
Could this be symptoms of a co-infection? Headache could be due to bartonella and/or babesia. deb > > Hello all, > > My 11 yr old daughter has been on various ab's for 1 year now, being > treated by Dr. J. in New Haven. Guest guest
Tim was able to send me the core protocol of Buhner. He ran out of it a while back but I think he should have it again soon. I have never met him but spoke to him a few times on the phone when we decided it would work for me to be on the protocol. Hope this helps. Guest guest
, Did the herbs help at all? Did your symptoms imrprove, did they plateau or did they worsen? I'm thinking that multiple approaches at a time or in series is a good idea. How did you find out about him. Tim was recommended by a friend of a friend who had been completely debilitated for years and improved with Buhner protocol. I greatly appreciate all your input and am grateful for this forum. Thank you, Be well, Aviva > , > > Yes, it is Tim . Guest guest
Hi Aviva, I read 's book Healing Lyme. Tim was listed in the back as one of a handful of practitioners who are familiar with his protocol. My symptoms improved around Thanksgiving, but I have to say I have also been taking a ton of supplements. I don't know what finally helped but then I had a set back a month or so later when Tim ran out of the combined protocol and I was without the herbs for a few days. Depending on what I find about my total condition (I'm getting tested for a bunch of other things) I may start IV antibiotics. Thanks, On Feb 28, 2010, at 1:57 PM, AVIVA GERSON wrote: > , > Did the herbs help at all? Did your symptoms imrprove, did they > plateau or did they worsen?
