Guest guest
No, but I've used bee venom ointment, Venex, and it helped me a lot. > > Hello, > Does anyone have experience with SQ bee venon injections? >

Guest guest
The bottoms of my feet used to hurt, and one night when I was experiencing really severe pain in my foot, regular pain relievers wouldn't help, so in desperation I rubbed the Venex on it, and to my surprise, the pain stopped almost immediately. This was followed by a herx, which for me was that my eyes would droop and close up. After this, I started rubbing the Venex on almost every part of me (not all at once, because you're not supposed to use too much/day.) I found that I would herx, and would feel better. I also had a large lump on the bottom of my foot which went away after many repeated applications to the area. Every time I rubbed it in, I herxed. At one point I also felt a series of smaller lumps, kind of like a " string of pearls " , under my skin on the front of my shin, and with repeated application they went away. I even herxed when I applied it to my face, which by the way would feel much smoother after applying it. I had some little white spots that were like little zits, but weren't, and they went away after repeated applications of Venex. I applied it to itchy areas and would herx, then the rash would subside. Later it would come back, and I just kept massaging it in. So I rubbed it into almost all my joints. I especially had the itchiness around my knees and elbows. I also rubbed it on my shoulders, which were very stiff and at the time I was unable to hold my shoulders up (I was becoming hunchback), and after a while, was able to get back to my former good posture. So those are some of the things I remember. I haven't used it in a while, although I still have a couple of tubes left. > > > > > > Hello, > > > Does anyone have experience with SQ bee venon injections? > > > > > >
Guest guest
By the way, another point I'd like to mention is that a couple of years ago I went to the Lyme Disease conference in San Francisco and heard Dr. Barthold from UC speak on Bb, and one of the things he said is that they'd found that the highest concentration of Bb was in the SKIN. I think that would indicate the usefulness of topical treatment. I still herx some when I apply things topically, but lately I've been using cold pressed virgin coconut oil instead because it seems gentler, and my Lyme disease has improved tremendously since my Venex days. I don't feel that I need the strength of Venex right now. If you're not allergic to bee stings, I'd highly recommend buying a tube and trying it out. > > > > > > Hello, > > > Does anyone have experience with SQ bee venon injections? > > > > > >

There is another point in favor of topical treatment: oral /IV ABX does not reach the skin very well, especially in lymies with circulation problems (ACA like presentation etc.). The same seems to apply to many types of ABX when used topically. Ointments of natural products probably reach deaper into the skin; I'm also experimenting with virgin coconut oil applied to the skin. Guest guest
In addition to using virgin coconut oil on the skin, have you tried 3% hydrogen peroxide? Im wondering if spraying down with HP after a hot shower, waiting a few minutes, then rinsing off, and then applying the coconut oil on the skin might be helpful? Carol what is the idea behind using hydrogen peroxide, as a general antibacterial, or to kill Bb? My skin is very fragile, I doubt if such chemicals are a good idea.
