I haven't used allicin but I have used garlic tincture (garlic and brandy)

at times. I use it mostly for tooth infections and it's worked really well

for that. I read a small study online that said if you add turmeric to the

garlic it will strengthen the power of the garlic to where it is as strong

as some antibiotics. I tried that when I had very bad infected tooth. Half

my face was swollen. I went to the doctor and he gave me penicillin as an

antibiotic but it didn't appear to do anything. I finally tried the garlic

tincture and turmeric combo and it worked great. I've used it a couple more

times since without any added antibiotics and it's always worked great.

Interestingly I've started giving it to my dog who has behaviour problems.

After learning about how lyme can cause behaviour problems I thought maybe

garlic/turmeric would help him and the difference is incredible. He had a

lot of problems and would spend most of his days alone but now he acts like

a normal dog. It's like a miracle. Since then my sister has put her dog on

it, as she also has anxiety and behaviour problems and she's been helped

incredibly too. I've given it to many dogs and haven't seen any stomach

upset although one time my sister didn't bother straining the garlic from

the tincture and in that case her dog did get an upset stomach. So I'm

thinking that by straining out the garlic from the tincture that may help

with stomach problems that some people have. I've taken a large tablespoon

at a time on an empty stomach and have had a stinging stomach for a few

seconds but never any major upsets. But I don't know if it would help

everyone.

I was also reading online about artemisinin and found an article that said

that turmeric strengthened artemisinin as well. It makes me wonder what else

it helps strengthen.
