Guest guest
_Mark Hyman, MD: Resveratrol -- Eat Whatever and Live to 120?_ (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/) make sure to let me know if this link does not work , its from huffington post but way to big to send I fear this is very interesting but be sure to scroll down to the comments to read , plus don't let the story throw you off I feel that its the comments that are best I make my own tincture with jap knotweed by the gallon ...its easy and its cheap , I like what one poster says about alcohol in it as it works better that way. is that true ??? are there studies can you share them with me ?????...loads of comments and links to explore on this link right now I am not doing any herbs because my doc is just getting me going on the abx treatment , she is a doc out of Harvard mass and is accepting new clients at this time , and she is LL all the way ..contact me off list for recipes and Dr name . I get alittle perturbed by the advertising for this herb protocol when most we can make ourselves , its the standardization I am working on now I would very much like that discussed , is it the color of the tincture that speaks ?? jap knotweed grows all over the country in my back yard too . I have teasel that grows too and have info on what age and what part that is used as well as pictures , I also do teasel tinctures ,I am in Zone 5 and have been sharing them with other lymies , I am going to start selling them too at reduced prices because its just a crime to see so many get roped into big money products . now I do understand that some may feel more comfortable spending a fortune , but I cannot help to feel that this group is becoming a port to sell product , and I don't buy the info that says some are better than others , if you are getting powdered knotweed pills learn how to dry it , buy a pill maker , is there something else in these products that helps them , are they bio identical ??? what distinguishes them from others . I have a chemist friend that I can ask if I know what to ask for it takes no time at all to make a tincture and no time to use dry either, takes time to dry and powder Though now I have a large dehydrator that works just fine , anyone know if temp will affect the properties ?? are there any other that are about herbs for lyme ?? as I am not undermining anyone here and do not want to offend anyone please don't take this as a slam , its not!!!!!! I like this group very much and have learned a lot and would like some of my questions answered of line if it has to be if anyone want to contact me the lists please feel free as I don't want to get in trouble for stating my concerns with the issue at hand with the advertising , when folks are sick and desperate they will pay anything I know but times are tough and giving is good . but I also realize that some do not want to take the time to make these things , I am willing to send some of mine out for free if I get SASE and postage too Blessed Be Liz happy Easter too
