Guest guest
I'm not sure we need to start a new group for activism so much as get this issue out in the existing forums and others for action - whether the email protest campaign through www.healthfreedomusa.org or any other great ideas - we have to do this now - our collective access to supplements is at risk. I am now in the process of contacting people I know who can get this out to large numbers of people. Once again, for those who want to ask others to sign the protest petition to go to our senators, white house, HHS Sec'y Sebelius and Senate HELP committee chair, the url is: http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/568/t/1128/campaign.jsp?campaign_KEY=26714. Thx all for any efforts you may be making for this cause - Robin Re This is a grim resignation to something that is NOT A FACT. If you don't want it to be true, then don't let it happen. This sense of powerlessness in the population is the worst plague of all. “Evil triumphs when good people do nothing.†There is nothing inevitable about this unless people do nothing to prevent it. P.S. Now that I think of it, wouldn't it be grand if Moyers did a segment on The Politics of Lyme? Anyone know how to reach him? Guest guest
For a point of clarification, when you click on the URL below, you are redirected to the healthfreedomUSA website. When you get there you need to click on: STOP MCCAIN ANTI-VITAMIN BILL NOW! which takes you to: http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/568/t/1128/ campaign.jsp?campaign_KEY=26714 which when you scroll down gives you a form to fill out with your contact info. A cover letter to your senator and THEN the petition is to the left of your information. I have to say the message is overly lengthy and there are errors in spelling (“mis-used” is misspelled and “agra business”), so I corrected them. I am concerned about the efficacy of this message. Convention has it that the shorter and to the point you can make your emails, the more effective they are. I would encourage everyone to distill the message and call or fax your senators as well as submitting this online petition. Guest guest
FYI, On Facebook, there's some Lyme groups brewing on there. Just type in Lyme and you could join and post different petitions on there. Lots of people would love to support this! Just a suggestion. From: sfrobink@...
