Guest guest
Keep in mind that Wiki tends to err on the side of big money. Go outside and get more information! I HIGHLY recommend the book! Guest guest
Get the book " DMSO: Nature's Healer " or at least read the FAQ page at the website below. I use it for many things on myself and my animals. It's well worth investigating for yourself! > [ ] Interstital Cystitis (Bladder) and > Lyme- preliminay report on LYMEMD - DMSO > > > Hi .. nopers, havent tried it yet .. do recalling > hearing about it > for something lyme relating in 2000. Guest guest
Actualy wikipedia.org ,, if you read .. is an International collaberative Project anyone can contribute to. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:About and other links on the left of the page no one pays attention to..But who's " appropriate standards " is the question... " Visitors do not need specialized qualifications to contribute. Wikipedia's intent is to have articles that cover existing knowledge, not create new knowledge (original research). This means that people of all ages and cultural and social backgrounds can write Wikipedia articles. Most of the articles can be edited by anyone with access to the Internet, simply by clicking the edit this page link. Anyone is welcome to add information, cross-references, or citations, as long as they do so within Wikipedia's editing policies and to an appropriate standard. Substandard or disputed information is subject to removal. Users need not worry about accidentally damaging Wikipedia when adding or improving information, as other editors are always around to advise or correct obvious errors, and Wikipedia's software is carefully designed to allow easy reversal of editorial mistakes. " We should all look up Lyme .. write a piece based on research and submit it, afterall a lot of people rely on this site and comes up first in the google search engines .. anyone with the writing ability to put together a bit of the truth and submit it ? Since when do we trust gov to make correct calls ? Im not knocking DMSO because there was negative comment on wikipedia. But, because of its properties ... Im using intuition on this one... Other sites/books have their agenda's as well keep in mind.
Guest guest
One problem I have heard of is large corporations hiring " wiki editors " to keep their side of the story going. Editing wars are no fun, especially against someone being paid to promote something! Sorry I have no facts or references to back this up, but if you read the articles pertaining to big pharma you will see the trend. > [ ] Re: Interstital Cystitis (Bladder) > and Lyme- preliminay report on LYMEMD - DMSO > > Actualy wikipedia.org ,, if you read .. is an > International collaberative Project anyone can contribute to. > > See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:About and other > links on the left of the page no one pays attention to..But > who's " appropriate standards " is the question... > > " Visitors do not need specialized qualifications to > contribute. I remember some stories from a few years ago about how lots of 'sensitive' Lyme information (e.g. about Plum Island) was removed from Wikipedia articles by sleazebags working for the US Government. Guest guest
Wikipedia should have a record of that in the archives. As far as I know, it is still a " public domain " type of organization, so the webmasters are unlikely to knowingly participate in some sort of information conspiracy. Perhaps a brief note to the site managers re that deletion would pull the information up out of the trashbin. Steve C. Perhaps a brief note to the site managers re that deletion would pull the information up out of the trashbin. From what I understand, Wiki will completely remove material and editing discussion if a number of 'experts' agree that the material does not belong there, or has insufficient data to support it. In this case it is completely removed (maybe it is archived somewhere, but the general public can no longer see it, nor the fact that is has been discussed). This is what happened to some subjects related to Lyme (e.g. the Plum Island story). A group of 'wiki experts' working for the US Government - judging from their internet addresses - agreed within a short time to remove all information related to this.
