I just wanted to say that some people on abx have been doing " oil-pulling " to

clean up the abx mess on the teeth. This treatment basically consists of

swishing a tsp or so of a fresh pressed edible oil in the mouth for 10 or 20

minutes. I believe this procedure is followed with a swish of baking soda mixed

with water.

Some of these people also claim that this procedure is useful as a detox. Even

if the detox theory turns out to be incorrect (I never checked this claim

yet)the fact remains that it helps make the teeth sparkly white and that is

enough to warrent further checking.

It kinda makes sense that it would work. I don't know about anyone else on this

forum but I have scraped my teeth with a tooth cleaner in an effort to get that

gunk off of them. This stuff on my teeth appeared almost oily. One thing I do

remember from my university days is that " like dissolves like " . In other words

water will dissolve water based substances and oil will dissolve oil based

substances. So the oil-pulling should work by theory to get that stuff off our

teeth.

As for your thoughts about abx I am sorry but I am still undecided on that

issue. So far it looks like it's all we've got to cling to right now...

Take Care,

Chris

I have read about the oil pulling using extra virgin coconut oil. I think

recall reading that drops of GSE (grapefruit seed extract) swished around will

help? Maybe you can research this. I'm not sure if CS (colloidal silver) might

help if you swish that around. CS is a natural antibacterial that many use in

place of abx. This is part of my protocol, along with a rife machine. (I have

tried starting Buhner herbs but they have given me GI distress so I am sticking

with CS for now).

Regarding abx, I never started with those even though my LLMD offered them when

I first saw him. I have heard of too many people who were on them for months or

even longer and then their symptoms returned with a vengeance when they went

off. Another friend was on orals for 3 years and then had a PICC line for IV

abx for the past 8 or 9 months. The PICC line was just removed this past week

and I am waiting to hear how she fares in the next month or so.

tooth in the front bottom...it looks horrible. It makes sense that its

happening, because lack of good blood flow to the head area and my teeth are not

getting nutrients.

> I got much worse coming off the IV Rocephin than before I was on it. I'm

debating on whether I should go back on it or not .... but I can't stay on it

indefinitely. It's really hard to know what to do sometimes.

There is a lyme Dr in Canada (one of two... but his license was revoked for

treating for lyme). He has a research centre and a website. This Dr is a saint.

he has devoted himself to helping those with Lyme disease. He has a forum where

you can post any questions about abx and he will try to answer you by the next

day. You could try asking him. Here is his website:

http://murakamicentreforlymebc.giving.officelive.com/default.aspx

BTW please don't ask him about natural meds. He doesn really use them at this

time.

Hope this helps.

Chris

Hi Doug,

Whiten away :-) Just don't swallow any of the oil since you will be

recirculating toxins. You will probably still be detoxing regardless so

don't over do it.

Happy smiles...

Hi Liz,

Not sure where he is located now. I think he used to be in Arizona. Is

this guy an MD? The one I am referring to used to teach at Stonybrook.

He muscle tests and uses different manipulations to unblock certain

patterns that cause illness. We may be thinking of 2 different people.

Sorry.

To be honest I spoke with this guy over 10 years ago. I did not know

that I had lyme at the time. I felt like he was brilliant, but really

quirky. I got his book, but never really pursued things because I was

not really able to travel at the time.

Good Luck. If you want some referrals for NY docs, let me know. Be

specific as to what type you are interested in so I can help.

Have a great day.

Peggy
