Knotweed, I thought that Lyme was the only thing that affected the CD57. Do

you have links for the studies or any other info on the CD57 test. I have been

unable to find any additional info on it.

just a guess: rocephin, like many other ABX, has an anti-inflammatory action.

Maybe this temporarily influences CD57 values?

several scientific studies have found NO direct link between CD57 and immune

activity (or disease symptoms). AFAIK the only convincing links are in the

original studies from Stricker c.s.

I think CD57 is an overrated marker. Also keep in mind that it is NOT specific

for Borrelia, so it can also be influenced by other infections or immune

problems.

Hi - the inventor of the test told us the CD57 count appears to respond to Lyme

and not other conditions. - Robin

That's what I had read, but I haven't been able to find much on the CD57 other

than 2 blurbs.
