OT: Feral CAt Bite, Con't. County paying for some cat bite tests

THE COUNTY IS TESTING THE CAT FOR:

 

 PCR, BARTONELLA IS PART OF THIS

THERE IS NOT LYME FOR CATS, oNLY DOGS

BABESIA

TOXAPLASMOSIS

 

I can hardly believe it, my heart is hurting, but for joy....(it hurts more

since the bite, the babesia is going nuts under the pressure I felt).

 

Are there any other tests that are warranted?

 

I am allergic to penicillin and sulfa and doxy is just not the best abx for the

feral cat bite.  So the County is saving the cat for tests.

 

They want my Dr. To call the CDC for other tests.  Any other tests that you know

of?
