Guest guest
Selma, Have you tried www.amazon.co.uk? If not and you have any trouble accessing the site, let me know and I'll pm you a link. They have most of his books. Cat > I'm trying to buy the other Buhner's books, but in his site I can > only buy one by one... Guest guest
Yes, I was trying to buy there, but then realized the books came from different sellers. So I suppose I have to pay shipping to Europe for each of them? I dont want to pay individually, if you see what I mean. Any idea if they come in a single box or not? Guest guest
Hi Selma, I'm glad you asked if there are other plant communicators...I've enjoyed reading your posts in the past and loved how you used your intuition to make new discoveries. I, too, have a strong relationship with the " green world " . I have a daily meditation practice and trees and other plants often " pop in " . Sometime they show me what they can be used for. The spiritual relationship between humans and plants is very ancient. I feel they want to teach me and I need to be very quiet and listen. There are a few good herbalists here that I may study with to suppliment the inner concection I feel with them. Have you read " Plant Spirit Medicine " by Elliot Cowen? It's very good too, and similar to Buhner's work. Findhorn Community is another good resource. best, Allie > > Anyone here is communicating with plants in the way Buhner describes? > > I would love to hear from you, if you are. Guest guest
Hi Selma, I live in the U.S. and have only ordered from amazon.co.uk when I wanted music/CDs from European artists that I couldn't find at amazon.com. I imagine the UK site works the same as the other one, being that when the books come from different sellers, they do come in separate packages and you pay shipping for each. Maybe Finette's idea of ordering them from amazon.com will work, if they stock the books you want (if so, " amazon " would be at the top of the seller listings for each book). I don't know if they would charge more to ship to Europe than they do in the U.S. If that doesn't work, maybe try barnesand noble.com, though I don't know if they ship to Europe. Other than that, I wonder if you ordered the books through a local bookstore if you would save on shipping. Good luck! Guest guest
" I touch trees and branches " Hi Selma, nice to see you back! I had this experience: when I was a small child we had 1/2 acre of wooded land. When I was unhappy at home I used to stand in the crook of a special tree and feel comforted. Decades later, I read that this kind of tree {it was a fir tree} was regarded by the ancient Egyptians as a source of 'chi'. Interesting. ellen
Guest guest
These two books are classics in the field: Primary Perception: Biocommunication with Plants, Living Foods, and Human Cells (Paperback) by Cleve Backster (Author) The Secret Life of Plants (Paperback) by Tompkins (Author), Bird (Author) Cleve Backster was one of the first - he hooked up electrodes to plant leaves, and he would burn the leaves of one plant, and the neighboring plant would register a response. This was decades ago, and he was called a lunatic of course. Now decades later scientists have caught up. See example http://www.csmonitor.com/2005/0303/p01s03-usgn.html Or just do a search " plant intelligence " . best, ellen
Guest guest
hi Ellen, Beautiful article, many thanks. And thanks about book tips, titles look very interesting, I'll take a look and possibly buy them after Buhner's... Hope you're doing fine. My daughter just got bitten again, so we're a bit in trouble here (finding out what to do for TBE). Fortunatelly, no borrelia (she's on preventive for catching ticks with borrelia). Big hug. Guest guest
Selma, also consider buying Plant Spirit Medicine by Eliot Cowan. I spent some time with him years ago. You would enjoy journeying to the spirit of a plant. > > Anyone here is communicating with plants in the way Buhner describes? > > I would love to hear from you, if you are.
