Guest guest
Hi, I forgot a few things... Castor oil packs are amazing for herxes. You need to do them for at least an hour. I find them more effective if you use an infrared lamp. The heat penetrates better. Some people swear by coffee enemas. You can get directions online. You need to make sure you are using organic coffee that has caffeine in it. You also need regular, not instant. The caffeine helps your liver to detox. Also make sure you are getting enough magnesium. The baths definitely help, but I need oral mag to keep me from getting heart palps. I know that this is controversial. Some people stay away from mag. You can use mag oil if you want to bypass your digestive system. Okay, hopefully I am done now :-) Have a great night. Peggy
Guest guest
Wow, Adding magnesium is controversial? I've always read Lyme eats it up and my son demonstrated it, accidentally. He lowered his supplement amount, had abnormal ekg and symptoms (at age 20). In between that and the full 'stress test' he re-upped it, his symptoms were gone in a few hours and the stress test a day later was perfect. He can't do without it! > > Hi, > I forgot a few things... Castor oil packs are amazing for herxes. You > need to do them for at least an hour. Guest guest
My 23 year old daughter has a lot of heart trouble from Lyme...what type of magnesium do you find that works the best? Citrate, oxide, stearate, etc., etc. > > > > Hi, > > I forgot a few things... Castor oil packs are amazing for herxes. You > > need to do them for at least an hour. Guest guest
I was given magnesium bis-glycerate by an MD/ND. The magnesium is a chelated form manufactured by Albion Laboratories and supposedly absorbs better than other forms. Transdermal magnesium oil also is another delivery system that doesn't require absorption through the GI tract. There are a number of sources, one is Swanson and the other is Ancient Minerals. Swanson is much cheaper, Ancient Minerals claims highest purity. Not sure there is really a difference - this has been discussed in depth on another group. deb > > > > > > Hi, > > > I forgot a few things... Castor oil packs are amazing for herxes. Guest guest
My mistake - I believe it's called magnesium bis-glycinate. deb > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > I forgot a few things... Guest guest
I get this by digest only, so just saw the questions. Obviously everyone needs to titrate the amount they take, as everyone's body is different. My son takes Mag. Citrate separately, plus in his multivitamin is Magnesium from both Mag. Oxide & " Mag. Amino Acid chelate " . It was the separate Citrate form he'd dropped; so for him it appears to work well. hope that helps. best, > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > I forgot a few things...
