Guest guest
Hi. I am unclear about what you are advocating. Are you saying it's good to take magnesium or not? Guest guest
Dr. Singleton who wrote The Lyme Disease Solution (a very good book by the way. That and Buhner describe a good treatment plan) recommends Magnesium Glycinate at 600mg to 1000mg daily. If your dose is too high, diarrhea may occur and then just decrease magnesium but stay on it. It's crucial. Dr. Mark Hyman describes the importance of magnesium and the bioavailable forms in his book, The Ultramind Solution. Magnesium is responsible for more than 300 enzyme reactions in the body. It's crucial for cells to make energy, stabilize membranes, and help muscles relax. Low magnesium can cause headaches, anxiety, insomnia, muscle cramps and spasms, aches, and hypersensitivity to noise.
