the inflammation gene, which one ??

there must be many genes that influence this, if only because there are many

different types of 'inflammation'.

yes, that is one of the problems we are facing with chronic lyme. I can

understand they try the autoimmune model though, because it seems to work for

some recent diseases (not very well, but better than nothing). And probably, if

there is money in chasing autoimmune diseases (a recent development, but still

....), maybe there is money in defining Lyme to be an autoimmune disease as well.

I think the theory is wrong because of one of the basic principles for good

science called 'Occam's Razor'. Always use the most simple model; it is wrong to

assume that after a few weeks of ABX, Lyme is suddenly an entirely different

disease with the same symptoms, called PLS or whatever. Unless of course one has

proof that the disease is really entirely different, but there is no proof for

that at all.

Hi Tes,

It is my pleasure. There is a new product that is an extract of shea

nut butter. It has shown early promise in lowering all of the tests i

mentioned in my last post. I just started it. I am also going up

slowly because I am very sensitive and don't want to tank.

The inflammation gene test is HLAB27. It is one more piece of the

puzzle when it comes to why I have such trouble with inflammation. I

have tried so many different herbs for it with limited success. I am

encouraged by the reports of this product. It is called BSP201. The

label says inflammation /cytokine management.

Have a great day.

Peggy
