This is the one that I got by mistake http://www.iherb.com/Now-Foods-C-1000-250-Tablets/468?at=0. It has rose hips in it. Oops:( Is there anything that I can use it for? > +++Hi . That's a small amount of Rose Hips so go ahead and use it. Bee

Guest guest
Is there really a difference in the different brands? I always thought that they were the same as long as you get them in the same form. Personally, I do fine with the generic brands. > > > > Bee, > > I can hardly tolerate any Vitamin C. Why is this. Yes, do cut back on the vitamin C to a dose that does not cause loose stools, and very slowly increase it. But also loose stools are created by your body in order to get rid of toxins. To be sure, don't take the vitamin C for a couple of days and see if you still have loose stools. All the best Bee

You get what you pay for, and some generic brands are very inferior. Bee
Guest guest
>> Hi. It's Chris. I have a question. I have upped my vitamin C because Bee said that helps with constipation which I have all the time. She is absolutely right - it helps tremendously! +++That's wonderful Chris! My question is this. I have a fibroid which I have had for several years now. Can vitamin C cause issues with a fibroid? Shortly after beginning to take the additional C (several days later) I began to have cramping like menstrual cramps although I've gone through menopause and there is also a slight discharge. I went to my Dr and had a thorough checkup and he also sent me for an ultrasound to see if the fibroid was growing and it has not - as a matter of fact, it has shrunk a tiny bit. My uterine walls are a bit thicker though - close to borderline which scared me. So my question is could the vitamin C be causing the issue with my fibroid? Because when I take the normal doseage after about 2 days the cramping is gone and so is the discharge. Also, will this diet help me with the thickening of my uterine walls? +++No, vitamin C would not cause any issues anywhere in the body, and instead it would be healing the area, not harming it. If it makes some area get symptoms that is because it is creating healing reactions in order to heal. If your uterine walls are a bit thicker it is due to healing going on in the area. Your fibroids themselves have shrunk and it is very possible they will continue to do so on this program. You can put castor oil packs over the fibroids and uterus, and leave them on overnight 3 times a week for awhile to help them too: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/pack.php All the best, Bee
Guest guest
> > Hi Bee-- Your site is by far the most helpful I've seen in regards to fighting Candida- Thank you! My daughter, Cora and I are working on getting rid of ours. I have been trying to streamline my supplements and I notice large amounts of vitamin C recommended. I went through the links on your site and see lots of sources endorsing this recommendation, but I was hoping to find something that answered the claims that too much can be bad for you. Is there no reason for concern? Hi in Virginia. Welcome to our group. The amount of vitamin C I recommend is actually the minimum amount needed by anyone who is unhealthy, according to Orthomolecular Physicians. Orthomolecular means " the preservation of good health and the treatment of disease by varying the concentrations in the human body of substances that are normally present in the body. " They do this with supplements. Even very high doses of 200,000 mg per day can be taken without any problems - see the chart listing doses in this article: http://www.orthomed.com/titrate.htm Vitamin C is water soluble so if you take too much you will get loose stools which means your body is getting rid of it. That's why you start with smaller amounts and gradually increase them like I recommend, because it takes time for vitamin C to saturate the tissues properly. Guest guest
Hi Bee, I have another similar question... Over the last year or so I've tried to find my bowel tolerance with vit C. I was never able to get a stool or loose stool. I think I went as high as 12-14 g a day. Does this suggest my body is very deficient? I'm back down to 4 a day along with the rest of the program (Since Nov). Should I be taking more? This program includes " all of the nutrients " needed to get healthy, which all work together. Whether your body is saturated with vitamin C or not doesn't matter. If you were to enough vitamin C to reach bowel tolerance it isn't going to make you healthy any faster, nor even help. ALL nutrients are necessary and it will still takes 1 month of natural healing for every year you've been unhealthy, and just the diet plus supplements is what does it (along with eliminating toxins and damaging foods). Guest guest
> > Hi Bee, > I started the diet and supplements a little over a month ago. Currently I'm taking only 500mg per day for the past 1.5 week and I'm still getting loose, watery stools each day. Should I continue taking 500mg/day until I get more firm stools? I was thinking about lowering the dose to 250mg/day and would like to know if this will firm up my stools? I'm also thinking the loose stools are due to detox (stools are mustard color), so maybe I should now start to increase my VitC dose by 500mg every 5 days? <snip> +++Hi Anne. I believe your loose stools are due to detoxifying, and not because of vitamin C. You can continue to increase your vitamin C. Since your stools are already loose, increase the amount every 3-4 days by 500 mg. All the best, Bee

Lately, I have been eating twice a say only, and taking 2000mg vitamin C with each meal. Is it too much to take at once? I have noticed that I get more tired, but I can handle it okay. > +++Hi Helene, Things are okay with me and my family. Thanks. Yes, that is okay if you are not getting loose stools, and had gradually increase it up to a total of 4,000 mg per day. Bee
Guest guest
> > Bee, > > Are the vitamin C's your suggest we take corn free for sure as far as you know? Ive been alerted by my sons homeopath about how they dont have to put that info on labels. Ive been using natures way and wonder if I should stop. +++Hi , Of course it is corn-free. If it wasn't no one on this program would be doing well. Vitamin C can be produced from corn, but it changes the corn chemically so the corn no longer exists. Guest guest
> > HI there, > Looking for feedback on the best vitamin C that is NOT a huge capsule, I'm tired of crunching. The powder is quite expensive and I cannot find the other BEE recommendations, but will keep looking, +++Hi , Here's my iHerb recommended brands: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/resource/iherb.php The vitamin C Extra is a a medium-sized tablet that you can cut it in half so it is easier to swallow. When you consider that vitamin C powder contains 2,250 mg per 1/2 teaspoon it isn't expensive at all. To get 3,000 mg you only need a little more than that, but you also need to get 1,000 mg from the vitamin C tablet so you are getting the other co-factors of vitamin C, i.e. bioflavonoids, rutin, etc. See these details for taking vitamin C: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp1.php#ad Bee
Guest guest
> > Hi, > I recently posted about allergies and adrenal fatigue. After I read the articles on adrenal fatigue and allergies I began to up my doses of vitamin c. Following the recommendations of the articles and the book Adrenal Fatigue, I took four to five thousand grams of vitamin c initially and then continued to take 1000 mg every hour, waiting for my bowels to become loose to indicate to me the amount my body needs. I never reached teh point of loose bowels so I stopped at 14,000 mg. After a few days of this I began to feel much better, more energetic, and my sinus congestion abated. I'm wondering if it is recommended that I continue to take such a high dose every day and I'm also wondering why I didn't reach the point of loose bowels..maybe I needed more? +++Hi Samia. Since taking that higher dose of vitamin C helped you, I don't think it is necessary to keep increasing it until you get loose stools. Stay at that dose for 1 week, and then lower it slowly back to 4,000 mg vitamin C daily. Continuing to take that much vitamin C for longer periods of time isn't going to help you. +++What helps the most is the basics that provide your body with the nutrients it needs to heal itself the way Nature intended, which are my diet and all of the supplements recommended. > > Also, I was wondering about breakfast choices. AT the moment, I'm eating eggs every day...i noticed the menus feature eggs every morning for breakfast...no chance of developing a sensitivity to eggs? +++It isn't true that we can develop a sensitivity to any good foods I recommend, eggs included, if you have them day in and day out every day of the year, and even at high quantities like 24 eggs per day. +++Many isolated groups throughout the world, before transportation, had only the foods available in their area, which were limited. So they consumed the same foods every day, and didn't develop any " so-called " sensitivities or allergic reactions. +++Good foods on my diet do not cause " so-called " sensitivities or allergic reactions, but instead good healing foods, herbs and spices help the body heal and detoxify itself, so they are actually healing reactions and symptoms as this article explains: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal14.php +++Eggs are high in sulphur too, which is one of the 7 important macrominerals our bodies require so it is able to detoxify itself. So that's why eggs have gotten a bad reputation for symptoms and reactions. +++Isn't it interesting how the medical and drug industries demonize such wonderful foods like eggs, meats and good fats.
