Guest guest
Hi My LLMD recently suggested Himalayan(SP?) Mineral Salts. Has anyone heard of this and how did it work out for you? I'm basically on my own for treatment now. My LLMD was forced to redirect her practice and gave up all her Lyme patients. At the same time I waivered on doing abx or Buhner Protocol. My insurance helped me make up my mind. They sent me a letter stating...after review of your medical records it is determined you don't have Lyme disease. I have positive test results but the last ones were negative so they said I no longer needed iv treatment and was cured. Any who...I'm interested in learning about the mineral salts treatment. My doc mentioned it was on Lyme Strategies but I couldn't find it there. Thank you Jaye

Guest guest
> Constipation....... > I took a rest for a few days from Buhner & bagan yesterday.....got bloated...Just had pineapple & bloating totally disappeared. Are you using just ordinary pineapple fruit/juice or something else? Wouldn't the sugar in this product be generally bad for lymies? I too have bloating problems (not from Buhner herbs, it was caused by the Lyme itself (or the antibiotics, or gal bladder damage). It got slightly worse when I ramped up the Buhner herbs dosage. I don't have constipation. I have tried a lot of things already and nothing really helps (low gluten diet helps a bit, but it takes lots of time and is quite expensive). Currenly using beet juice which seems to help a bit.
Guest guest
Ordinary pineapple....Who knows the answer? I had been seeing one of the most famous LLMD's & when I asked him about desert...He laughed & said enjoy as I was not on Abx. My blood sugar is low & I researched that Whey is the best...and the only way I can tolerate is via Muscle Milk which has sugar...but the regular protein helps out my blood sugar & over-all well being....so I guess we have to " weigh " the evidence. Guest guest
Himalayan salt comes either as one you consume or one you use in baths (I dont' know the difference). I've used the edible one. Its supposed to be full of minerals because of where and how its gathered and processed. The reason I have stopped using it is because it is SO expensive. If I could find it at a more reasonable cost, I would use it simply to get the minerals. If anyone finds a good source, please let me know. As far as lyme and general health, way too much goes on with my health to be able to tell if it made any difference. jo > > Hi > My LLMD recently suggested Himalayan(SP?) Mineral Salts. Guest guest
Thank you Jo for the info. I think I'll just stick to buhners protocol for now and wait in her suggestion. It's something to keep in mind for down the road. Jaye Sent from my iPhone. Guest guest
Thanks . I actually ordered the Himilayan this morning from the site given yesteray. Its quite reasonable; about the same as Real Salt. I've used Real Salt purchased locally from stores where its more expensive than the site you gave us. Next time I need salt, I'll consider it. Thanks. jo > > Try www.realsalt.com It's the American version (a mined antediluvian salt) > and is much cheaper. >

Guest guest
Not from bathing no. But the salt/c regimen (you drink it) has helped a large number of folks. I have allot of testimonials on my free Lyme resource CD and also there is an entire support group about it. It made a big difference in my wife's recovery. Another treatment modality that has helped others is Rife machines. Again I have allot of info on the cd about this. msadams@... www.msadams.com Moderator of Lyme_rife list Lyme_Rife/ > Re: [ ] Re: Mineral Salts? > > , > > Have you actually heard of Chronic Lyme sufferers making > major improvement die to Himilayan Salt Bathing? > Buhner not helpful to me at all...Ditto ABX, ALLicin, Zhang etc. > Jay >

Guest guest
Hi , http://www.saltworks.us On the topic of mineral salts I just found this amazing website to purchase salt. I'm in Canada though so I'm still looking for a cheaper source to option a large quantity of salt. If anyone from Canada has a good source, please let me know. Also... Is there a " recommended " type of salt for the lymes protocol? I've read that people are using different ones. Donna
