Guest guest
The significance of a tick being engorged is that once the tick has fed to being engorged, it regurgitates, thus spilling the bacteria into its host. A tick has to be on the host for a certain amount of time (24-36 hours usually) before it is engorged. That is why QUICK and SAFE/PROPER removal is so important. If you squeeze a tick the wrong way during removal, it can also cause the tick to regurgitate. ~Mimi www.iammimi.com
