Guest guest
Dr. Z's artemesia taken in high doses, empty if stomache tolerates, made a big difference in my symptoms. I still have it, I believe, but at least the sweats, chills, air hunger isn't as bad. I use to feel I was suffocating at night. I just took for 3 days before tummy said " no more " , but now I hear from some sources that it's best to take for 3 days at high dose and then repeat. > > I got my IGeneX test results back today. Guest guest
NO! IT does NOT mean you will get rid of it. As a matter of fact, Buhner is not recommending the Artemisinin any more. Listen to his latest CD that is out. Also go to Planet Thrive and read about it there. I found that Artemisia annua did more than the Artemisinin did for me, also. Does that mean one can rid oneself of it within that length of time? jo
Guest guest
He actually had a better way of recommending it when he DID recommend it, and that was the 1200 to 1500 mgs a day for 3 days, I believe. Then two weeks off, then hit it again for three days. IF that doesn't get it, the Artemisinin won't do it, he says. But then that may just be me. I took the dose of Art that Buhner recommends, 100 mg, 3X day, for 40 days. ellen
Guest guest
Selma, Did I understand you correctly that you put two protocols together to treat Babesia? If so, could you share what they were? Thanks,jo
Guest guest
Jo, the info is scattered here in this forum, I'm trying to re-copy everything from my notebook and from what I wrote here (as I treated it for more than 3 months, so pretty lots of things...) I'll post about it again soon, Selma > > Selma, Did I understand you correctly that you put two protocols > together to treat Babesia? Guest guest
Ellen, do you have any sort of high temperature/ hot flushes ? The actual temperature does not have to be high, but has to be higher than what you normally have. Most of us with borrelia have lower body temperature, and when I was getting hot flashes, I think I didn't have a 'fever', but it was more like my temperature getting 'normal' (if I measured it), but it felt 'hot'. These were my 'hot flashes' with babesia. Borrelia can cause low body temperature too. I just feel bart and babesia can make the temperature go higher than what is 'normal' for us and fluctuates more than with borrelia (in my feeling). You have also to check for bartonella. A VERY common co-infection, more common than babesia, and with many similar symptoms. Now I remember you told before that you had treated a month your babesia. Sorry, memory lapse! I was surprised back then, as you were the first person that I heard B's babesia protocol working! Sorry for my forgetfulness! Guest guest
Jim, did he really said that high dose for artemisinin? That's exactly the protocol Dr. K uses (I think that's how most Chinese try to get malaria with artemisinin). I did that too, two times in my first AND second babesial infection. Artemisinin hit lots of bugs, but it didn't kill the cystic forms, I suppose. I relapsed after. Can you confirm if Buhner is now recommending the high dose REALLY? He was very careful in recommending some high doses in the past, if my memory is good. Thanks, Selma > He actually had a better way of recommending it when he DID recommend it, and that was the 1200 to 1500 mgs a day for 3 days, I believe. Guest guest
Hi, Selma. My temp fluatations are occasional and not very bothersome. Like today, I don't have any. My thinking is that they have to do with how much coffee I drink, also some emotional matters. I *never* have temp fluctuations except in my apartment. Never anywhere else. best, ellen > > Ellen, do you have any sort of high temperature/ hot flushes ? Guest guest
Funny Ellen! Maybe you should stop drinking coffee? So you get cold with coffee, if I understood well? So you possibly really got rid of babesia with the combo artemisinin + red root!!! Are you on red root still? Guest guest
A gentle reminder for all you coffee drinkers, and others; please change the subject heading when the subject changes. Much appreciated, jo
Guest guest
Sorry, Ellen, bad memory!!! I keep confounding both! Guest guest
Someone 2-3 months ago alluded to Buhner now favoring a different herb for babesia instead of artemisinin. While I noted it at the time, I have misplaced it. It was apparently a change in what he thought was the best primary herb for it. Does anyone know what the newer choice was? Guest guest
I am taking cryptolepsis, A-BAB and artemisinin for babesia. It has taken me since early spring to get up to full dose of crypto and A-BAB. Now adding art is knocking me on my butt though I have taken it on its own before and actually felt better on it. I dont' know what Enula is or what it is for. Am curious???? jo > > Is anyone taking Cryptolepsis and Enula for Babesia?
