Guest guest
I'm not advocating alcohol in any way, there has been a few times over the years that I wanted to have a glass of red wine and with my Lyme/mcs/sulfite issues now, I would break out w/rashes and just not feel good. I found that if I wanted to have 1 glass of wine, I take molybendum sp? before/during/after while I'm drinking the wine, it seems to help pull the toxins out and I don't feel sick from it, I also found that if the wine is made in steel barrels it doesn't bother me like oak barrels that retain my sulfites in the wine. For me other than the holiday glass of wine, I don't think it's a good idea to drink it, it is alcohol and is taxing on your liver and body, as well as loaded w/sugars which spiros/candida love. I feel better w/a low carb/gluten free diet and if I do eat something sweet, my body tells me it doesn't like it. I know alcohol is a NO with lymes and I have stopped consuming it. Prior to stopping I noticed that I could not tolerate alcohol anymore. I am wondering however what the effects would be if I was to have 1 glass of wine while on Boulouke, boneset, red root, stephania, knotweed cats claw and holy basil. Will 1 glass of wine have a devastating effect?
