Guest guest
I wonder if you could call the offices of some of the big people in San Fran who treat lyme and see if they know. I think Ginger Savley's office is there as well as Raphael Stricker. There is a third, a RN, initial S.M., but darn I can't think of her name. > > Does anyone know of a Lyme literate neurologist in Northern California? My current general neurologist is closing his practice, and it took me years to find him. I have multiple neuro issues including epilepsy which I see a specialist for. I want a neurologist who understands that Lyme & Co can cause the lesions I have in my brain, and especially a neurologist who knows how to talk to people and doesn't solve every problem with a toxic pill. Thanks, Aurora >

Guest guest
I use a couple of great people out of Sonoma County - Lipelt 707-829-2737 and Treya Palmer whose email is terrii@... - these are the two people who have helped me the most " healthwise " . I am also doing lymph massages every 3 weeks from a local gal. No ABX for me! _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Connie Blaze Sent: Friday, October 29, 2010 10:44 AM Subject: Re: [ ] LL Neurologist? Guest guest
I'm also searching for a LL neurologist. I saw one considered top in the field here in the Northeast. But he wanted me to take a 5 day IV of steroids . I heard many stories from people here of the possible dangers. He didn't really respond when I expressed my concerns. He saw me for far less than what he would normally charge but when my insurance changed so did his approach, maybe coincidental. I wasn't comfortable with what he recommended so he referred me to an MS specialist.. my LL MD at the time said he was writing me off. I thought so too. The LLMD let me know they wouldn't battle this top MS dr. The MD didn't believe in chronic Lyme. That closed the chapter with her. I genuinely believe that an autoimmune disease is a complication from the many viruses and bacteria that have attacked the body. Whether MS or Lupus, it's simply affected the body depending on what areas are weaker in us individually. Sorry, just my uneducated opinion based on experience. I've heard of LL Neuro in Ct that is very costly. I don't have his name but is there anyone whose cost is reasonable anymore? I live in northern NJ. I have asked before and heard one response so I'm putting it out there again. Are there that few LL Neurologists? Any suggestions? Guest guest
We saw Dr. Katz three years ago and I was disappointed. He was very compassionate, and very expensive. For the price we paid to see him, I found his knowledge lacking. I would recommend finding someone who uses the Vol machine or Art testing (an advanced form of muscle testing) to see what YOUR body needs, not what some " expert " thinks you need. My husband is finding his way through neuro-lyme this way. It's been almost 4 years, but we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. We saw Katz, Cowden + Klinghard and others. Klinghard is very good in my opinion. Klinghardt does ART testing. There are a lot of the Klinghardt treatments online and once you learn muscle testing or have someone help with muscle testing, you're on your way. Learn to trust your own body's intelligence. best, -Allie > > > >> > >> > >> I use a couple of great people out of Sonoma County - Lipelt > >> > > 707-829-2737 and Treya Palmer whose email is > > terrii@...<terrii%40sonic.net>- these are > >> > > the two people who have helped me the most " healthwise " .
