First day it was hitting something,(maybe a virus, don't know) had a strange kind of headache, 2 days later I had big gain in energy. > First days I used ±200mg 3x, later ±500mgx3 which seemed enough. I have no idea what would be the advantage of using extract, but maybe there is. Thanks for the reply, interesting to know a Dutch herbs supplier. They indeed have good prices for some of the herbs. My guess was that olive leaf extract would be better for dealing with yeast on the tongue, as the active ingredients are available right away. Chewing on olive leaf (powder) for some time is probably unpleasant?

They indeed have good prices for some of the herbs. I also posted another message(considered spam?) about mangosteen juice, found a another dutch seller, also does chinese herbs etc etc, just ordered some knotweed there ; winkelcentrum.ailing.nl/ Also: gekruid.be has lot's of nice stuff. > > My guess was that olive leaf extract would be better for dealing with yeast on the tongue, as the active ingredients are available right away. Chewing on olive leaf (powder) for some time is probably unpleasant? Interesting! haven't heard that, but seems very plausible. The way I take it helps for my gut but indeed doesn't work so much for the mouth; for that I use the cloves (yes, kruidnagel). Some sites state you need fresh, preferably organic cloves, but I think any will do: if they are older you just need more; you'll notice. >
