Guest guest
Still is tearing me up inside. I so appreciate your support and to you too . I'm now having to take care of my Alzeimers mom and bathing her. I'm exhausted. (She's 81 and diabetic) So I really appreciate the kind words. Thank you! Jeannie [ ] Suicide- So sad the wake of sadness that comes with that decision. Sorry for your pain, all those that are affected by this loss. Hard to imagine, but many times those that commit suicide think they are making things better, not worse for those they leave behind. In their mind they think they are sparing people from watching them fall apart, from incurring cost, becoming nursemaids. To anyone I have ever known that is the one that is left behind, they would give anything to have the person back, to be able to care for them, be their friend, etc. Can't even imagine the pain you and friends and family must be experiencing knowing she wasn't sick at all. Couple that with Lyme and you must be more than devastated. Sorry again for the loss.
Guest guest
Sorry to hear that Jeanie! Have you heard there is a possible tie in to Alzheimer's and Lyme? Dr Macdonald checked the DNA of 10 Alzheimer's corpse's brains and found Lyme spirochete DNA in 7 of them! Its in the move " under our Skin " . Have you ever consider putting your mother on some sort of Chronic Lyme regimen, such as salt/c or CS etc? Re: [ ] Suicide- So sad the wake of sadness that comes with that decision. Guest guest
hi , You know that thought had crossed my mind a while back. Great idea. I just hope I can get her to drink it. Again, I appreciate any suggestions. She sleeps way to much and we can't seem to get her motivated and she's in a wheel chair. Guest guest
There is a version of salt/c for kids that is more a fizzy salty lemonade type drink. Perhaps she might like that? Let's us know how things go. I wish you all the best! Re: [ ] Suicide- So sad the wake of sadness that comes with that decision. Still is tearing me up inside.
