yes, too bad that Mac now seems to have serious Alzheimer himself and

can't continue his research. I would like someone to check this DNA transfection

issue for MS and LD/neuroborreliosis patients. He might be on to something, this

could be related to the phi-BB1 prophage that is inside every pathogenic

Borrelia and it could explain some of the naughty features of LD and MS.

Of course there are more similarities between Alzheimer, LD, MS and other

diseases that attack the nervous system / brain. A significant group of

Alzheimer and MS patients test positive for Borrelia (or at least past Borrelia

exposure), so those may be misdiagnosed LD cases. And there are strong

similarities in geographical risk areas and seasonal disease risks (for MS and

LD, probably not for Alzheimer because it is a relatively slow disease).

Maybe it is not alway Borrelia causing the trouble, other bacteria or viruses

that can penetrate the blood-brain barrier could cause similar disease, but

maybe we don't test for them yet.

Excellent points! I too wish Dr Mac had not been stricken. So much we

really don't understand about the root cause of Alzheimer's.
