Guest guest
My doc wants me to start Boneset tea. My feet have hurt, expecially in the morning, for years and it is looking like I may have Bartonella. I am quite sensitive to any change in supplements or herbs. Do I just put a tsp or so of the Boneset in a cup and pour boiling water on it and let it sit for a while or should I actually boil the herb in the water for a while? The only advice I was given was to wait until it cools to drink it because it causes some to be nauseous when it is hot. Also how much of this do people take. Is it a cup spread out over a day or 2 or am I aiming for a cup several times a day. Thanks for any experiences. --Judy
Guest guest
can't answer your question but just want to make sure you are aware that there is a bartonella group you can ask questions of as well: bartonella deb > > My doc wants me to start Boneset tea. Guest guest
You can also find empty teabags in a health food store... They're handy to have and don't leave much of the herb floating around in the tea water like a tea ball might. I have used both. But, for my daughter, the tea bags are really important cuz she does not like the leaves floating around! Thanks for this info in this thread. I have been having such bad foot pain IN THE MORNING which totally doesn't make sense because I've been OFF my feet all night. After I walk on the foot for a while (or rather limp on it) the pain dissipates... I didn't know it could be Bartonella. Man I hate that bug! My first symptoms with it were severe GI issues.. GERD and colitis (this is before abx even started) with occult blood in my stool it was so bad. A couple of months on rifampin my symptoms abated but it took 9 months before I could stop it successfully and keep the symptoms away... I'll try the boneset tea. I hope I can find it! Does it taste ok or will I need to mix with mint? I'm such a baby about taking stuff that isn't in capsules if it tastes nasty. Guest guest
if you use a little strainer you dont have the waste or the bother and still get rid of the tiny bits. my daughter liked the taste, but i love it with licorice and eulthro root. janet From: jenuhferr@... Guest guest
My wife had the same foot pain. Others who also have had this think it's Bartonella causing it! Her's did not go away until she started using a DP100 rife machine. All the other protocols she did helped her lyme but did not seem to do a thing for the Bart! www.lyme-resource.com You can lead a person to a fact, but you can't make them think! - Re: [ ] Boneset tea You can also find empty teabags in a health food store...
