Guest guest
From your description i would think that this is probably herxing. i am not a doctor. i am basing my judgement on 8 years of suffereing with chronic lyme  i always feel worse when im doing a protocl whether it herbal, antibiotic or soemthing else.  now im on an herbal protocol just for the erciletta(spelled wrong but it is a lyme pathogen) and im sick daily sometimes its.loss of memory, fatigue but generally always like ive been hit by a train  when i go off for a few days the intensity of the symtoms reduces. hope this helps and best to you.this lyme thing is really awful joe  From: Liese <liesesue@...> Subject: [ ] herx or worsening symptoms? Date: Wednesday, December 22, 2010, 7:09 PM  how do i tell the difference between a herx and worsening symptoms? i'm up to cat's claw 2gm, knot weed 800mg, and adrographis 600mg four times per day. i'm also taking pregnenalone, DHEA, vitamins, glucosamine and chondroitin, milk thistle, CoQ10, digestive enzymes, probiotics, ziac (a beta blocker), celexa, clonazepam and low dose naltrexone. i was having a really bad headache but increased my milk thistle to 1250mg x 2 a day and that has helped. what is happening now is the side of my face with cranial nerve palsy is hot, flushed, and having cramps. i can't take stephania because i am on beta blockers although i am seeing my doctor tomorrow to see if we can change that. does this sound like herx? or is the nerve damage getting worse? thanks! ~dory
