Guest guest
I have the itching too from candida. Been on years of abx's, oral, iv's, shots. I find that certain foods seem to trigger it. If I have anything that converts into sugar, the itching begins, my ears, nose, orifices, etc. it drives me crazy. I haven't found anything to make it go away, I scratch it and then it itches someplace else! Also, sometimes I feel like bugs are crawling on me. Warms epsom salt baths help. Saunas, low carb diet. And no MD will recignize it and few ND's really truly understand it. It mimicks Lyme almost to the T and many of us that have been on years or months of antibiotics are prone to it and it is not treated right. good point, they can even look alike under the microscope (both are pleomorphic organisms, some forms are visually similar). And the problem is that despite the many similarities they require different treatment: ABX will not hurt Candida but (and often make it even worse, because it kills bacteria that compete with it) but ABX can help against Borrelia.
