Guest guest
My 8 year old son has developed a bullseye rash on his arm with a white center. My wife has chronic Lyme already and is understandably freaking out. She just got back from the doctor's office. Of course, they are not sure it is Lyme and think it is MRSA or staph infection? She asked that they start him on Doxy and they said no because it can cause problems with 8 & under children and it stains their teeth? She asked about Amox and they said no because it would not work and would make the staph worse? They gave her a Abox cream and told her to use that until the labs came back...this all sounds like crap to me. Shouldn't he start the Doxy right away? We all know the elisa test is garbage also. The only lab that may come back to solve any of this would be the staph/MRSA test I guess. My wife's LDD has not returned her call and has no email to send a picture. His office is 3 1/2 hours drive away. Not sure what to do??? Suggestions??? Thanks,
