Guest guest
Hello Lymettes - I was just reading some of your comments about what goes on during the full moon regarding Lyme bugs/co-infections, etc. I worked with a naturopath for a while who would tell me to amp-up on herbs, abx and especially detoxing during a full moon because she says the Lyme bugs get very active during this time (they come " out of the woodwork " ). Makes sense to me with a college education in biology.... If you can handle the herxing - it's a good time to " paint with a broad stroke " , so to speak. It's worked for me. What's also helped tremendously is the use of ayurvedic practices with moving lymph and hydrating. We use salt/oil scrubs before bathing and drink lots of juice of young coconut - which is " wetter " than water. Sea salt/saline solution is good to drink first thing in the morning to hydrate. I have to be careful with this one because it can cause nausea if I drink too much. The pulse readers at our local ayurvedic clinic tell me nearly all of us we are too dry - no matter what ailment we come to them for. This is northern California. If I could only afford a weekly massage as Bruhner suggests. Of course I'm a licensed massage therapist! - Cobbler? No shoes - I'M NOT GIVING UP, THOUGH!Lyme War Cry!
