Guest guest
dear friends, about july 10, i hit a period where i could not use computer every day, not even to read mail, never mind type memos. when i did open my mail and saw the huge deluge of memos, i got more and more discouraged of ever being able to even read them. last week, feeling some better, i realized i just had to let go of reading all the unread mail from last month's lyme buhner list. so, a couple requests: 1. if by chance, anyone had asked me personally any queries and i did not respond, please resend your message to me at kendraz@... 2. PLEASE help me and anyone else out there like me who still deals with brainfog, pain, and overwhelm: please clearly label the subject of your memo, and CHANGE your SUBJECT HEADINGS when the topic of the memo changes. one of the only ways i can handle the mail is by scanning each new subject memo. if i determine that a particular subject is not relevant to me and i have no info to contribute, i do not read additional memos with that same subject. but so often the topics morph many times into farflung topics with no change in subject. *for instance, right now there was a clearly labled subject " REACTIONS to individual herbs " that is discussing a wide range of nonrelated topics.) keeping subjects clearly labled also helps tremendously when searching archives. 3. especially for all those who use the Digest format, please " TRIM " your posts when you reply to a memo. that is, delete all the nonrelevant portions of the orginal post, especially all the repeated Links stuff at the end of every post. trimming old posts helps tremendously when having to scroll thru dozens of screens of duplicate memos (especially when every keystroke to hit " Page Down " triggers pain!), and it also helps reduce the amount of storage for our free archives. i appreciate your willingness to listen to my requests to help me continue to participate in this list, which has been so valuable to me. breathing in nourishment, breathing out gratitude, Breathe, we are alive! kendra
