As Kendra pointed out below, it is VERY important that each message

is labeled properly in the subject line. Just as important is

deleting the message you are replying to except the part that is

pertinent.

For members who are moderated I try to do this myself. For everyone

else you need to take a quick moment and check you message before you

send it. A little bit of work from each of us can help someone else

not get overwhelmed.

Thank you Kendra for this reminder!

=)

Golf -

I checked the link and posted a response. I'll paraphrase it:

"The fibers you claim are cuticles are man made materials, synthesized from petroleum. Their composition was determined by MIT Woods Hole, Lamda Labs, and others, and the results have been made public for nearly two years. With this valid lab analysis in mind, your theory is impossible."

I am glad that the combination of strategies has helped you so much. I am MUCH improved myself, and have been for several months, taking no medications whatsoever. In fact, it was only after getting off of ALL chemicals, detoxifying myself, using far infrared, and building my health back up through an excellent diet and supplements that I feel almost 100%.

zmooks,

I think I'm on the same diet as you, it's called a lyme diet, but the

person who wrote about it started with a bird mite problem. I'm

eating eggs, meat, fish, butter (no vegetable oils), vegetables,

walnuts, water and decaf coffee. The only seasonings I'm using are

salt, pepper, and some indian spices (no fennel). I modified the diet

a little and use coconut milk and eat a ton of mac nuts (probably not

a good idea but I need the fat). The diet seems to have helped, every

week I'm feeling more clear of the bugs. I am getting uncomfortably

thin, even with all the fat I'm eating, but it's not a problem.

I'm glad you are feeling recovered from your ordeal.

I always appreciate reading golfnuts contributions to the forum. This

problem is so weird and tenacious. I'll never look at bugs the same way.

It does sound like we might be doing the same diet.....

I actually dont know what this mans name is, but he developed this

when a cloud of dust covered him while pulling vines from a tree -

does that ring a bell?

Anyway yes, I eat a tone of macadamia nuts as well..... yum ....

The diet I'm on has two stages, the first is extremely strict, I am

on the second stage which allows some sugar, and chocolate processed

with Alkali - as well as cooking with spelt flour, which I

insidentally love! I wont go back to wheat now.

yes the weight loss is a problem on this diet though....seems to

have platoed now (sp?)

z

And also on your thoughts Bessie - that was a great move leaving a

post, because an over simplification of the issue wont help...

It does make you think that perhaps there are a cluster of different

conditions lumped under 'morgellons'.......I definately feel like

the worm theory is possible with what we had.....It looks like it

will be so many years before the final theory is arrived at...

I just lost a post....

I was wondering how your doing now? Do you have the biting/crawling

or is that over for you now? FOr a while there I didnt feel 100%

even though the mites were gone....I am sure it was a parasite -

sort of just a buggy feeling. Could have been paranoia, but I doubt

it.

Yes the diet is fantastic, I am staying on it indefinately.......

At the risk of my old post having gone through and repeating myself

I was going to ask you what you thought about his claim that after

eatting only eggs for over a week, plus the environmental cleaning,

that he got over the biting/crawling? I wish I could have tried

that....but we were over that before I started the diet.

I do know that like Ray, once we cut out sugar things improved....

Bessie, I know your on a diet, and GOlf, is there anyone else who

has tried a dietary approach in conjunction with what they are doing?

I've been on a diet which I guess is good because I gained 10 pounds

from depression due to this. I mainly eat as much fruits and

vegetables as possible. I limit the carbs, sugar and fat. I also

drink as much water as possible. I have cut out alcohol. Coffee, I

can't and limit myself to one cup a day. It doesn't effect me though.

Hi z,

For the most part, I am over the crawling and biting. In the past

couple of weeks there have been a few occasions when there were bugs

in my shoes while at work, so I used the Arrid that I keep at work to

spray my shoes. Now I've got a morning routine of dousing my shoes,

outside and inside with Windex about an hour before I leave for work,

and that has solved the bugs in shoes problem. I still feel there are

bugs in my scalp and skin, but the feeling is slowly going away. I

have used topical ivermectin and Sulfadene Skin Medication for Dogs

http://www.sulfodene.com/medfordogs.htm

In particular, I have a spot on the bottom arch of one of my feet that

seems to have been badly infested, and I have repeatedly applied

ivermectin and sulfadene to that spot, and it is gradually clearing

up. I also used these products to get rid of the bugs in my ears and

nose. I would put them all over my skin if they didn't make me so sick.

So, I am not 100% yet, but seem to be getting there. I think the diet

has enabled me to make the final push to getting rid of the problem.

I don't want to stay on this diet forever, maybe until September. I

can't imagine eating hard boiled eggs for a week and dousing my home

with ammonia, but hey, I'm glad it worked for him. I think the reason

he did that was because he hadn't yet figured out what else he could

safely eat.

Aloha,

myrtle

I am so happy for you! you sound like its pretty much over...

just the last little part of the journey left.

So your going to stick to the diet till sept, thats a good

goal...I've been on it for three months now, probably will make it a

year....thats how paranoid I am....but I count paranoia as a

blessing.
