i stop protocol for a while?

I got this when I started Smilax (after using other Buhner herbs for a year or

so). It stopped when I stopped taking the Smilax, but when I started the herb

again a few months later I didn't have any pains. Probably something got stirred

up the first time.

my experience with Lyme is that while treating you can get strange problems and

pains in places you never knew about. But usually it disappears again in a few

days, or at most a few weeks.

Sounds like it would be related to your urinary tract to the kidney

area. I'm just starting so I don't know how it relates to the protocol

but in case you wanted to know. It sounds like inflammation and then the

urine from the kidney through the ureter might be causing the burning OR

could be very small kidney stones... ?

  • 2 weeks later...

Gut irritation can lead to inflammation of the ileo-secal valve, between

sections of your gut. It's in that area and can be very painful. Pulling it

diagonally up and to the left can help. I also take DGL a form of licorice that

is very soothing to inflamed gut tissue (has been used successfully in Europe to

heal ulcers.) In your situation I would take a break from whatevr I'm taking and

give the gut a chance to heal up--DGL, marshmallow herb, small amounts of

comfrey. Good luck.
