I've had heart symptoms all along, before and after starting treatment. I've had

to keep my doses low enough to keep from making it worse and it's paying off.

I've really been feeling better lately. My heart symptoms have decreased quite a

bit. I found Cat's Claw (of Buhner's protocol) the easiest and most helpful for

my symptoms. And wormwood, if I keep the dose very low, has been very helpful as

well.

Has anyone else experienced heart issues from treatment? I did not have heart

issues before treatment except for a palpitation now and then. Oh, I should

mention, this same thing happened when I did a trial of Doxycycline, so it

definitely seems related to die-off.

Thanks for sharing...

Be well,

Nicolle

My palpitations decreased when I increased my magnesium malate dose.

I read that these may aid in reducing herx. There are TCM remedies for

Herx.

*Alka-Seltzer Gold (taken 4 times a day), as well as abundant lemons and

limes can help to alkalize the body during Herxheimer reactions

*10 drops of burbur and parsley, when taken every ten minutes for two

hours, can quickly clear a Herx reaction

Yes he mentioned a book to me and I absolutely forgot it.

Try emailing him.

Also - the reaction you're having is probably to Andrographis.

Same thing happened to me. I took his combo and as I increased I eventually had

bad heart palps, dizziness, low bp, etc.

Andrographis can do this to some.

I know it was andro because I now take all the herbs in his protocol MINUS Andro

and I never had heart palps and low bp on em.

(knotweed in high doses gave me light-headedness for a few days)

I told Tim I was going on A-Bart and he said great (he checked out ingredients -

said they have chinese cats claw and some other good ones - that even hit Lyme)

on Friday. I was just wondering if anyone has seen before? He is an

acupuncturist and herbalist who apprenticed under Buhner. He

specializes in Lyme treatment, can do phone consultations and send herbs through

the mail.
