Guest guest
Hi Selma: I take it you do NOT have his latest CD set yet? I don't have the whole set, just one CD that a gal sent me from her own recording of the Seminar out east that he gave. IF MY memory serves me right, he NOW doesn't have much faith in Artemisinin. I will have to go back and listen to it again. Get forgetful when not working with it every day. THe info I gave here, I took from his Healing Lyme book, page 184. He isn't really recommending ANYTHING on that page. He pretty much just reports what happens here and there. He talks about the people in China NOT having Malaria very much, and it is because of the Artemisinin or maybe I should say the Artemisia annua. Then he goes on to tell about the 800 to 1200 mg a day, for THREE days, then off for two weeks. BUT he is talking about Malaria. HOWEVER, he also states on that page: " whole herb can reliably be used for malaria IF the dosage is increased to the 500mg range. This would apply to babesia treatment as well. . . . . . . The secret is in the dose, as with all medications. " . I got NO results at all, couldn't feel a thing, when I went on his low dose, so I went on the high dose to finish the bottle, and felt a little was happening. Then later I went on the artemisia annua and felt kinda weird, especially in my head. So I felt something was happening that time. Then later I started taking it again, but that was when I was starting the Coptis and had trouble last year, so stopped it all for a few days; and have never tried the Artemisia annua again. I have been kinda relapsing lately, but I am beginning to think it is because I haven't got the rest of my Amalgams out yet. And my jaw has been hurting in places, and sinus headaches, and I didn't have this before. So I am thinking it is more the mercury in my body than anything at this point. I had two ELISA tests this summer, and they were both negative. Course I know we shouldn't take much stock in them. Those are the ONLY tests I have ever had for Lyme. Everything was clinical by my duck before that, and now the past year and a half on my own, diagnosing best I can for myself. I need to start looking seriously for a GOOD dentist, I think. I am afraid to go back to the one I had the past two or three years. There is supposed to be a good holistic dentist over in Green Bay, but I don't know how much he will cost, nor how long it takes to get into see him. But I KNOW I need to do something, so I can heal. Jim. ### selmanaka <hardynaka@...> wrote: Jim, did he really said that high dose for artemisinin? That's exactly the protocol Dr. K uses (I think that's how most Chinese try to get malaria with artemisinin). I did that too, two times in my first AND second babesial infection. Artemisinin hit lots of bugs, but it didn't kill the cystic forms, I suppose. I relapsed after. Can you confirm if Buhner is now recommending the high dose REALLY? He was very careful in recommending some high doses in the past, if my memory is good. Thanks, Selma
Guest guest
Hi Jim, thanks for the info. When you listen to it again, please let us know! Yes, teeth problems are hell. I'm with you!! I read dr. K. thinks jaw pains, inflamation are more related to babesia and bartonella. I did find some babesia in my roots when I asked through muscle test, specially the ones which roots had infection (or felt like, because I felt pain and got no cavities there). But I also found borrelia in the same tooth. It was the only time I could see tick born pathogens there, otherwise, they often tested for different critters (in my case, the same as listed in the gastro-intestinal parasites from the KMT). I think it was right, as when I ran the KMT on the Gastro-intestinal parasites/ bacteries, I did feel relief most of the times. I think I could save at least 2 teeth from dying with this KMT in this recent re-infection. It seems that our jaws are extremely vulnerable when we catch lyme. I've heard so many stories, and my own of course, that shows we can have lots of infections coming and going there due to lyme and co. Specially when we're toxic (with killings/ metals). Yes, start with the amalgams. I found a good place (ebay Germany) to buy cheaper chlorella (it's chlorella surokiana or something like that). The price is really much lower and I tested it, it seems as good as the expensive brands I've been taking for ages. My naturopath tested too, it tested good, so probably it's clean. That's what I'm using (now my chlorella monthly budtget fell to 1/3 to what it was). I owe that tip to another lymenet member! Search in ebay US, who knows you'll find something? Chlorella is essential for catching lose metals. It doesn't detox the brain, but it detoxes the blood and organs from these nasty metals. You know, I changed my theory on 'relapses'. Since I started my own muscle tests, I dont' call these coming back of symptoms as relapses, not in my case at least. I am tracking the evolution of critters in my body, and I'm always going one step up in treatment, slowly but surely. Everytime I win a battle (one critter is down OR the critters have to change strategies to fight my herbs/ my immune system), I have what people would call a relapse. It's not. It's that critters change, for example, babesia gets down and borrelia comes up, so I start having borrelia symptoms (like the EM rash I had). Yesterday, another two critters seem to have gone (knocking on wood), bart and ehrlichia (I was in final battles with them), and guess what? I felt my left knee a bit and lower part of my back!! What? Yes, borrelia trying to colonize my joints again... Just a few days ago, my doctor could only find borrelia in a small part of my brain, but since the other critters fell, borrelia takes hold of the situation and spreads all over trying to survive (at least, that's how I understand what's happening). I haven't got any arthritic symptoms since the first days after reinfection in May. Guess what? Knotweed and phellodendron, the two most constant herbs since my reinfection, stopped testing AT THE SAME TIME yesterday. I'm SOOO SURPRISED. How can I stop knotweed? I feel afraid, because it IS my magic herb in this reinfection. No, it not only stopped to test but it tests NEGATIVE. Meaning, if I take it, borrelia will have an advatange. So I'm 'forbidden' to take it (according to my tests). I keep thinking about the reason, and I think (I suppose) it's because borrelia got used to the way knotweed attacks it and found a way to recolonize my body ANYWAY. So you know for what I started testing good since yesterday night? Well, andrographis AND stephania. I never so far tested good for stephania. And andro was testing NO most of the previous times. Last week I asked many times, andro and stephania were testing a big NO. Not now! I'm not taking knotweed for the first time since May, and started stephania instead. You know, I start to think a critter cannot resist these muscle tests and the constant change of protocol. They exhaust them, I believe. When they find a way to get through my immune system and herbs, bang, I change protocols. I'm doing that almost on a daily basis (at least the amount changing, or a herb changing etc). I don't know though if they can still hide in metals or so and still evade my constant changes... So now, I'm on another new battle, this time against borrelia alone (and my feet candida, that still shows up in my blood, but not on my skin). I wonder who will get down first. Both are VERY stubborn critters. Well, wish you good luck on the dentist thing. Eleuthero is testing excellent to many things, also for a chronic pulpitis I have in a tooth. No other herb tests good for this infection (I still couldn't find it). Eleuthero must be taken away from cold herbs (now that I do my muscle tests, this eleuthero and cardamon do test good but FAR away from andro/ stephania, about 2 hour interval is needed). I thought about you and your story of garlic, as both eleuthero and cardamon seem to be hot (in my tests). Good luck with the dentist hunt. Guest guest
Hi Selma: I haven't had a chance to listen to it, seems like so much going on al the time. I sure HOPE your tests are telling you the truth. As I understand they are only about 80% accurate, right? Take care, Jim. ### selmanaka <hardynaka@...> wrote: Hi Jim, thanks for the info. Guest guest
Jim, who knows how much accurate are these stuff? No idea, to tell the truth. I just feel better. I think I'm out of lyme and coinfections for the moment. I can't find them anymore. Even borrelia, not even 'hidden' borrelia I can find. Still fighting fungi (in the blood, in a root of a tooth and on my skin). That's all. I'm taking only 1 andrographis a day, but I suppose it'll soon 'disappear' from my tests. But I'm taking 5 capsules of stephania, 4 of eleuthero, 2 cats claw. That's all. They test good to fight fungi !! Guest guest
Dear Selmanaka: Tell me how you are taking your chlorella. I tried it and it made me lose more use in my arms. It also made me fill unwell. I tried it for 3 to 4 weeks. I am wondering if you have to take with something else to make it work correctly. I did up the dose and lower the dose, and got worse each time. Guest guest
Heidi, Please check out the chelation groups before trying to chelate with chlorella. Your experience is, unfortunately, common. You can really mess yourself up. Selma did well with it. But there are good reasons why chlorella can be dangerous, especially if you have a high mercury load. Absolutely do not try to chelate at all if you have dental amalgams (silver-colored fillings). Visit the chelation groups. Read Cutler's book. Be careful. Chelating can be very dangerous, and many people have ended up with permanent damage from doing it incorrectly. Many of those damaged were following a doctor's advice. Stop. Read. It's just one more area in which you have to be your own advocate. frequent-dose-chelation/?yguid=163720716 adult-metal-chelation/?yguid=163720716 D. Guest guest
You mentioned jaw problems in your post. I was recently diagnosed with babesia by an llmd but haven't seen the infectious disease doctor to begin treatment. It's taking 2 months just to get the first available appt. I'm freaking out thinking about parasites having free reign over my body. Besides all my other symptons, my jaw has really been bothering me the past 2 days. It it even locking up on me when I try to open or close to chew. Painful on chewing too. So, this is a symptom of babesia? My dentist took an x-ray and said everything looks good to him. Since I have to wait another month before I can even see the ID doctor, is there any foods I should be avoiding or stuff I can take? I'm nursing my baby still so I can't take Cat's Claw yet - I'm in the process of weaning her though so I can start treatment as soon as I see the ID doctor. Guest guest
>I have babesia and lyme disease and mine started with jaw problem. The jaw problem only lasted one week that was after immediately being diagnosed with TMJ and spending $750.00 on jaw night guard thanks to my dentist who said yeah you have TMJ. I used the Arthritic form of Head on - You just rub it on your jaw area and it helped and motrin. Eat soft foods until pain subsides. I guarantee you that in a couple days you wont have the issue anymore - it will magically disappear. Check and make sure medicines I recommend can be used by nursing moms. I am so sorry about this diagnosis when you are a new mom trying to enjoy your baby! I wish you speedy recovery. Tessa
