Very personal question regarding intimacy

Bright Blessings Everyone :)

I have a personal quqestion and my apologies in advance for anyone taking

offense. I have a boyfriend with whom we had unprotected relations 3 times

before knowing that i had Lyme(My Co's are Bart/Bab). Then used protection etc

because my guilt was hanging heavy on me of possible transmission to him once

diagnosed. We separated for awhile due to his own issues from his past, but he

is working on those and is still supporting me as i support him in his journey

to become whole.

I reminded him that we needed to be safe or just merely practice our tantra love

instead. He would rather forego protection while just not releasing inside of

me. i just lay and cry afterward knowing that it is his concious choice but I

feel horrible and also scared that anything he has that might cross to me as far

as just bacteria would cause me more grief or that he will get lyme. I need

ideas on how to approach this if anyone has good suggestions. Anyone else feel

this way or have this issue? And I meditate, vibrate and raise energy as a

Tantrika so my libido(very infrequently) is still in tact through this....wish

it was my brain instead lol. He is having igenex testing in 3 weeks, but is not

symptomatic.

I am sorry you are going through this.

My hubby and I had unprotected sex for many years before I found out I

had lyme-- we both have Lyme, but our LLMDs (different doctors) think we

were infected at different times. Neither of us ever contracted the

other's co infections, so it is probable that after 12 years together,

we have never passed anything to each other sexually.

Furthermore, I got pregnant and had a wonderful, healthy baby who is

now four years old and seems to not have contracted it congenitally.

Mimi - were you undergoing treatment for lyme during your pregnancy?
