Guest guest
> > by the time I found the LLMD I'm working with now I didn't have any money or insurance to get tested so I was diagnosed from symptoms, and I had a lot of typical Lyme symptoms. Usually clinical symptoms are a better basis for Lyme dianosis than the flawed tests, especially if there is a past history of tick exposure or EM. But I'm wondering ... isn't the clinical diagnosis more expensive than actual testing? A good Lyme test like the Western blot from IgeneX would cost about $150 in Europe, and this is pretty reliable (but tests are almost never conclusive either way). In europe most people have to pay these tests out of pocket as well, because only the standard tests (which are garbage IMHO) are covered by basic insurance. Is the testing far more expensive over there?
