Guest guest
Dear yarrow Thank you. Yes was on mepron stopped 3 days ago due to feeling yucky. I can never get very far treating babesia. Forgot to take artemesia for past 6-9 months so maybe a better place to start. I also started omnicef a few days ago too. Changes can become challenging and hard to know when it is worth trying to push through it. Herxing is such a bummer. Just brings me down. I am such a spirited person and working so hard to overcome hurdles mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Relaxing has now become my full time objective. I take it whenever I can. Work is def compromised. Hoping that I can keep hiding what is going on with me. Joints and muscles are in full tension ache and spasm. Wish we had an immediate cure. This has been a long haul. Thanks for the support. Hugs Monty Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T [ ] Re: Crashed Dear Monty, I read a few days ago that you are taking mepron and are herxing. It definitely sounds like it's taken you down. When I spoke to my LLMD last week i was feeling in a very similar place (and my herxing is just from herbs)......he reminded me that this is what happens while treating these illnesses. In my case, he encouraged me to stop taking the anti-microbials until i got back to feeling a bit better. It is such a fine line, when to treat, when to not treat. Mystic Goddess posted a few days ago about the load on our bodies from herxing too hard. I think i read not too long ago one of your posts that you were feeling well. Trusting that this is just a difficult spell for you right now. Can you take a break from the medications? Glad you reached out for support..... Sending peace and ease your way. Hope you are able to rest in body and mind. yarrow > > I have fallen and can't get up. My pain levels have reached a non functional level. I am panicked. Trying to have calming soothing thoughts. Guest guest
Monty, Â Im so sorry you crashed I had an amazing day yesterday and over did it because if I don't do the housework then it wont get done. Thank goodness a friend offered to do groceries for me because I cannot drive. Thank goodness I work from home, but it becomes hard to hide my pain from my clients. I too cannot add very many things at a time and have to go VERY very slow in increasing herbs. Anxiety meds nor pain meds help anything and I cannot take anything for the depression...so I rock through it and pray. So far it gets me through the rough patches and i back off the herbs when its bad and my body is taxed. I wish there was an immediate cure, but have decided that this was dealth to me to give me a wake up call to change my life in a different direction away from Nursing. It turned me to start my degree in Natural Health and Wellness and Nutrition. I will say a prayer for you in meditation tonight and hope that tomorrow is brighter and that tonight you find some peace. Guest guest
Monty, yes herxing is bad but if it's overwhelming, not all that good. Has someone discussed detoxing? Coffee enemas, epsom salt baths, lots of C and magnesium to move bowels? What are you doing to detox? _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of montylife@... Guest guest
Yes lots of detox but have been getting constipated with new meds. Had good movement today. I do a 2 stage detox shake from metagenics plus milk thistle plus antioxidants magnesium malate sometimes drink epsom salts per dr. Baths only once or twice a week as no tub when I spend 70% of my time. Pain increases when constipated. This is the worst I have been in a year since I started treatment 2 may's ago. It will keep moving. Did some yoga yesterday to try and shift energy. My big challenge also is I was an athlete and still have decent muscle structure just not as strong as I used to be. So hard to not overdo when I do. I usually take a big hit when I try to do anything bc I am millions of miles away from where I used to be. It will change always does. Guest guest
Monty - how are you doing today? I know what you mean about being " a million miles away from where I used to be " - me too. Seems like keeping everything moving is even more important for us - as if the bugs win when we don't eliminate properly. And the PH thing. So I've been told to drink lemon/lime water in the morning and take some PH equilizer later.Sometimes it's just so hard to do it all cause that takes energy too. I have been doing shakes in the morning forever - which metagenics are you using? I've used the protein 360 which I think is rice as well as the regular drink (chocolate flavor of course). nancy _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of montylife@... Guest guest
Hi nancy I'm ok. Thanks for reaching out. Have had a migrane going on 2 weeks now. I am usually all abt going natural.....but I have not been able to function without high dose of pain killers. I must work to stay alive. Funny how I have adjusted my believe system and have taken actions I would have never in the past to stay alive. I used to have a family that supported me but since I was diagnosed with lyme they have pretty much written me off. Back to the body...Eliminating regularly now....maybe tooo much. Stretching and doing a little yoga. My pain levels are pretty out of control. Stopped mepron. Need to go back on it soon though. I think the big key here is the iron iv therapy I am doing that has kicked the pain up so much. Last time pre treatment I became bed ridden. PH is pretty good for me. I do a lot of fresh squeezed lime juice. Substitute for alcohol soda water, splash of cran and a ton of lime!! Metagenics shakes.....chocolate across the board. I do ultra meal 360 for snacks, then also ultra clear plus for detox and ultra inflamX for those days where the pain is bad. I would say I have quite the natural pharmacy in my home. Spending today at home wish I could every day! Monty Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T [ ] Re: Crashed Dear Monty, I read a few days ago that you are taking mepron and are herxing. Guest guest
Thanks for the tip on the Metagenics shakes. Nots ure I will try the ultra clear without tasking to my guy, but I appreciate knowing enough to ask. Detoxing is fun isn't it..... May we all be migraine free! nancy _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of montylife@... Sent: Monday, September 13, 2010 10:46 AM Lyme Aid Buhner Subject: Re: [ ] Re: Crashed Hi nancy I'm ok.
