No, but I would like to when we have the $$$--in the new year, hopefully--am

just following Buhner's book right now to see if there is even a reaction--good

or bad.

I'm working with Tim and he is super nice, however i find myself just listening

to my body and going slow as apposed to following his protocol. I have his core

formula, Stephania, Smilax, and Siberian ginseng. By the way, smilax makes me

herx worse, so i stopped it for now. I also do IV Rocephin. After two months, i

started feeling a little better.

I took my 14 year old daughter to see Tim in August of this year.  We had been

following the Buhner protocol since Dec 2009 along with antibiotics.  We found

his supplements to be much easier to order/take than purchasing all of the

various supplements for the Buhner protocol.  He is very knowledgeable of Lyme,

previous sick with Lyme himself. We found the session to be very helpful.  My

daughter is greatly improved.  She is in school full time and back to her

travel soccer team full time.  We still are dealing with some cognitive and

emotional issues.  She has been sick with Lyme for at least two years,

diagnosed in Oct 2009.

Smilax makes me herx worse also. Any idea why? I bought his Knotweed and it was

so strong I could barley tolerate it

Smilax makes me feel as if every nerve in body is irritated, but i don't know

why. Also, I find using a combo formula like Tim's core, is complicated. If you

have a reaction, you don't know which herb is causing it. Now I backed off a bit

and using source naturals KW, Stephania and Siberian ginseng. I will add more as

i go and Lymph system works better.

Well just read Smilax info in detail and it says it is also an Antiparasitic,

Antispriochete, Antifungal and increases the killing power of the other herbs we

take...yet it supposed to help Herx? UGH! I get the exact same reaction that you

do. Like every nerve and joint is on fire. I am back to Source Naturals KW too.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences with Tim ... I have to tell you

I am now very comfortable and feel very excited about my appointment on Friday,

so thank you, thank you!

I have also had a problem taking Smilax and will be speaking with Tim about

this. I will let you all know what he says, although it may be that we are all

having reactions to this herb for different reasons.

I've used Tim before.

I like him. Knows his stuff. (maybe not so much about co-ifnections though)

He helped me big time with food ideas, ways to get vitamins and minerals in food

grade supplements (spirulina, bee pollen, alfalfa, barley, etc)

He helps motivate me to up my dosage! Cuz I know I need to with Cats Claw. I'm

only at 1x4 and I don't feel I'm kicking back Lyme enough.

He wants me to start Andrographis... but I'm scurrrrrred.
