Hello everyone,

I got really really sick after a trip to Peru in April and crashed hard. I have

since recovered abit but it's been 5 months and some symptoms persist. I tested

positive for Lyme via western blot at Igenix. For me, Ive noticed that all my

symptoms seem to occur when I'm in a weakened state. When my body gets abit

stronger my symptoms get milder. I think I might have picked up something in

Peru that aggravated my system and cause me to crash, and the Lyme which was

always there had a field day in this environment. I curious if anyone on here

has explored the idea that it maybe a co-infection causing the majority of the

issues... I mean beyond stuff like Babesia, something like a parasite or what

I'm currently looking at B. Hominis... Has anyone tried the triple drug cocktail

from badbugs.org?

I notice the same.

Scientists say the reason is that when the immune system gets bogged down by

stress, infection, viruses etc is when these bugs come out to play. They

communicate with each other thru a process called quorum sensing....when the

coast is clear (when the white blood cells are supressed by stress or are busy

fighting another infection or virus) they communicate this to each other and

mount a group attack, many different kinds of bugs may be involved in this

communication process, acting in unison to destroy our bodies...grrrr.

I have never tried the med you are asking about but I do find that taking an

extra dose of siberian ginseng helps bring my white bood cell count up within a

day.

Apparently most of us lymees also carry other viruses. Herpes viruses are very

common...EBV and the coldsore one etc. The herpes viruses supposedly need

ongoing treatment in order to keep our white cell numbers up.

Take Care,

Chris
