Guest guest
sorry that this is a bit off topic, but anyway ... There have been a few threads about using Buhner herbs for animals, e.g. horses which seems to be effective (but expensive ...). Does anyone have experience with using herbs for cats? My sister has an aging (13 year) cat that has been limping for at least half a year, and is quickly getting worse now with signs of vision problems, no gut/urine control and other euro (?) problems. They have visited the vet before, but he didn't know what was wrong. They are going to check again tomorrow, but it seems a bit hopeless case. Because all the symptoms look like neurologic problems to me, I wonder if we could try using knotweed (neuro protection / restore) or maybe other herbs? I have heard that cats have a very different digestive system than humans (or horses, for that matter) so I have no idea if this is safe to try. Anyone with experience (maybe with similar cat issues), or herbs forum for pets maybe?
