Hi , don't know if I've " spoken " with you before, but I also have

LQTS. My defibrillator is strictly prophylactic since any possible

episodes I may have had were years ago. Both of my boys as well as my

father have LQTS as well. They are only on Betas. I'm sorry to hear

about your recent shocks. I hope things will go better soon. Do you

belong to the LQTS support group on ? They are a great group of

people.

This talks about loud noise . . . I was in a room with an air hammer

recently and thought it was going to kill me. It HURT. But I think

it was the rythm more than the loudness. Has anyone else ever

experienced anything liek that?

We have it here too...my mother had it, My daughter, grandson, grand daughter and myself..to date three of us have ICD's and are all on beta blockers. I think I was a member of LQTS group in but forgot how to get there .

Thanks for responding. I am aware of the problem with CFS and such, just not

sure if it was caused by ABX's over the years. I am off all drugs that can

cause it for the time being...see a cardiologist in a few weeks.
