Guest guest
Here is my opinion on tests: I have never tested positive at Igenix for anything. But I've repeatedly had 7 bands on Western Blot and multiple PCR tests. I've never tested positive for Babesia, although there is no doubt that I have it and have had it for years. I've never tested positive on , thus tests are the reason I wasn't treated immediately back ten years ago, even though I had a confirmed tick bite and bull's eye rash. Tests have their place, but after you've had the disease(s) for a while, the spirochetes are deep in your tissues and hardly at all in your blood/urine. As for the associated infections, the testing remains problematic and there are so many false negatives. All Best Wishes, Muriel [ ] Re:Upset at my doctors Pam, One of the benefits, in my opinion, of the herbal protocol is that we dont' have to deal with doctors! Of course, I'm not saying that having a good doctor is not a good thing, a very good thing, but there isn't that 'gate keeper' to getting herbs and using the book and other sources of info to treat oneself. I'm not recommending that you abandon your doctor; please dont' get that idea. I see two, though I self direct a lot of my treatment. Why are you retesting at IGenX if you have already gotten positive tests otherwise? The co-infections? Not challenging you, just wondering. I faced this myself recently. I did go ahead and retest, though I've been told that the antibodies stay in the blood even if the infection is eradicated. But I tested negative to coinfections last time so am especially interesetd in what comes back this time. Best wishes, jo
