I guess it could be worse, we could feel horrible all the time! Thank goodness

for the good days or we'd all go insane!

[ ] Every 6 weeks

Connie, wanted to chime in about the " feel bad " cycle. I had read Lyme bugs

cycle every 3-5 weeks; then there has been some discussion about full moon

flare-ups. But I'm like you, about every 6 weeks I am down for the count for

about 4 days - the " I'm so sick " , I just don't care kinda feeling.

I have linked my cycle to lymph massages that seem to coincide....full

moon...eating patterns...but I suppose it is what it is - I haven't been

able to really nail down exact time cycles yet; sometimes 28 days sometimes

5 weeks....

But the good days, they are too great to pass up. Today was a good day - did

laundry, changed sheets, cleaned the kitchen and was to Rotary by 7:15;

makes up for the bad days when I cancel everything and moan on the couch all

day. I suppose the bad part is the worse I feel, the harder it is to do

things like eat well and do coffee enemas for detoxing - I just don't care.

I am so grateful I have you all - when I feel my darkest - to read a few

words of inspiration or empathize with someone feeling sick like me....

May the good days be longer and the bad days disappear!

I don't think they 'cycle' by themselves; the best explanation I have read until

now for these 4-5 week cycles is some interplay between our immune system and

the lyme bugs, i.e. they are responding to our own cycles.

is happening to my child.......

Bartonella has a 5-day cycle (that's where B. Quitana got its name from), some

relapse fever Borrelia's have 4-7 day cycles. But those diseases usually have

other symptoms than lyme.

Thanks, Knotweed. She definitely has Bartonella, but I'll have to research the

relapse fever Borrelias further.

could be an extended Bartonella cycle then, if there are multiple infections.

Some of these bugs can talk to each other using quorum sensing, and that might

influence their cycle. In general though, I don't know if it applies in this

case.

what are the other symptoms that relapse fever borrelia's have? do you know what

the cycle is for mycoplasma? my family members have been having these very short

cycles too. thanks, janet

relapse fever and lyme disease symptoms overlap, but compared to LD the sudden

fevers, headaches, chills and myalgias are dominant. With tick transmitted

relapse fever, the relapse will occur an average of 3-4 times, sometimes more

than 10 times. So if the symptoms have been cycling for much longer, it probably

is not relapse fever.

mycoplasma is a large group of organisms; I don't know much about them except

that they can make you very ill and can be hard to get rid off ...
